Building Flair - Day 12 🎥 My co-founder Lucia was on Univision today 🔥 She’s a celebrity fashion stylist and an Emmy Award winner !!!!! A big part of what we’re building with Flair is turning all her styling knowledge and experience into something anyone can access. Here’s a short clip from her tv appearance today on Univision’s “Despierta América” show. I really wish she could’ve said Flair was out BUT THE APP IS STILL IN REVIEW 💀

Building Flair - Day 11 🍂 Still waiting for the app store reviewww, but meanwhile: I’ve been planning content for Flair’s social media and researching which ugc videos to start with. I thought scrolling through tiktok all day was gonna be fun but i’m tired af 😭 Aaand also, there’s a new feature, you can now ask Flair to style a specific item from your closet, and it’ll build looks using pieces you already own or items from stores

@gary_miklos i tried it through replicate.com because i didn’t want to pay for a higgsfield subscription just to test seedance haha. Now that i know i like it, i’ll probably switch to higgsfield (i think it’s cheaper in the long run)

@sofiasofian This will be a great app - but, quick tip - study your competitors and then use Grok to analyze them and give you a feature that makes yours better - also, years ago a guy sold a similar app to Nordstrom...so, I'm sure you can exit this nicely when ready 🚀✨

@sofiasofian strategy can be so overwhelming, try content buckets to start your ugc & iterate WoW! > 1/3 viral niche iterations (search fashion, etc) & add product integration > 1/3 recreating viral competitor ugc > 1/3 recreating viral general ugc formats (check @wesocialgrowth for inspo)

Sofia love what you are building ! I tried revê as well but it didn't perform so well in production (my app does virtual try on on the merchants storefront) and their api limits weren't clear at the time so was nervous to go live with them But you just reminded me to go have another look at them :) keep building !

Building Flair - Day 10 🦋 Today i’m testing more image generation models for Flair’s virtual try-ons. I’ve been trying @reve and i’m loving the results so far. It renders the garments EXACTLY as they are, i purposely tested pieces with different textures and i’m amazed by how well it handles fur, leather and feathers. The patterns and prints are also on point, even if they include lettering 🤌🏻 here are some examples with designer clothes
