@tranquilrhy the part where she finishes the song, she said she sang parts live, but it was mainly prerecorded. she also said she basically learned to sing for the role. maybe they overlapped her voice with someone else or tuned her to make her more comfortable? truly have no idea!

@sofipenalbacrzn are you talking about the karaoke scene? cuz yeah that's def prerecorded. i think all of the vocals in her singing scenes are cus her speaking voice sounds too different but idk!

I kind of get if you’re an actor that just finished a book, and think it’d be cool to play a character in the adaptation.
Even seeing a lot of yourself in a character because you relate to them makes sense.
Reading a book JUST so you can self-insert is so odd to me.
