What happens with the food trucks is that, at 11 or so, everything switches in the Water Street bar district. We covered it, and we were near multiple shootings a couple feet away. The food trucks draw crowds and, at a certain point, violence erupts in those crowds.
It’s unfair that the food trucks are being penalized for other people’s behavior, but the people mocking the people focusing on them aren’t grasping the real problem.
They’re trying to solve a problem. Not saying it’s the right solution, but understand the motive.
