SO from TX

Not all those accused or convicted of a sex offense are terrible people. Some of us just made bad decision after bad decision that eventually created the circumstances that led to our offense. Lumping us all into a monstrous category doens’t help anyone or keep anyone safer.

I never dreamed that I’d be doing what I am doing today. But my path, my mistakes, have led me here. So long Twitter. See you all on the other side.

Now I lay me down to sleep.... My last night in a private room and a comfortable bed for the foreseeable future. I know there is an ‘other side’ of this, but I can’t even imagine that right now. All I can see is what is directly in front of me. And that is ok.

Today has been pretty surreal. Getting everything lined up so I can go to prison is not something I thought I’d ever be doing. I got hooked into internet porn and it escalated into illegal stuff. I hate it. I regret it. But I have to face the consequences.

@sofromtx Sorry you are going through this, I wanna say comforting things, but there is nothing to really say when it comes to prison. I agree do any programs that will reduce your time. And be on your guard at every moment. Good luck bro.

I think I’m as ready as I’m going to be. I am planning to enjoy my last night at home, dinner, tv, and a private room.
