Yareta (Azorella compacta) may look like a moss, but is a broad-leafed plant in the carrot 🥕 family, Apiaceae. This pictures were taken in Bolivian, at an elevation of 14000 ft. These plants are estimated to be over over 3000 years old. This large specimen may be over 1000 years old. 📷 Mark Dwyer
