Pastor Adeboye is praying for Israel, while poor Nigerians are dying. The children of nobodies are being kidnapped in Nigeria everyday. His flock are dying of hunger, many families don’t know what to do. Adeboye said nothing about that. But he is here twerking for Israel. In Nigeria, you have the Hypocrisy of Religion everywhere. The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict is not a religious war, it’s a struggle for territorial space, statehood if you like. But trust Nigerian Pastors & the religious to conflate the truth with their performative holier-than-thou little understanding of History. The Israelis are not even Christians in the real sense. So his false equivalence only feeds the stereotypes. Unless Pastor Adeboye is appropriating Judaism to Nigeria, his misplaced priority gives the Assistant Jesuses in Nigeria, the oxygen. Jesus himself was a Jew. Christianity is the religion of his followers. Until Emperor Constantine granted all persons the freedom to worship whatever god they pleased (at the Edict of Milan, circa 313), Christians lived in fear under Roman Rule. Today, only about 1.9% of Israeli population are Christians. Then again, about 75.8% of Christians living in Israel are Arab Christians. Israel is by no means a Christian State, Judaism is their State Religion, Islam is second. Christianity is third in that order. Back to Nigeria: your once burgeoning beautiful nation, the once Giant of Africa, is riddled with widespread insecurity, flooding, stagflation or economic woes never seen before. You have the Crisis of Legitimacy at the seat of power. Many Nigerians don’t know where their next meal will come from. Those should occupy your time & sermons. A Nigerian Christian, her name was “Deborah,” she was killed in the most brutal insane manner, & set ablaze by religious extremists. Pastor Adeboye said nothing! The poor girl wasn’t a Christian enough? Daddy GO is praying for Israel while Christians are being slaughtered in his native Nigeria. Pastor Enoch & other GOs like himself, they are the reason many Nigerians no longer go to church. At N1000, poor Nigerians can no longer afford the common bread. The Naira he prayed for in 2016 is now N1025, on its way to N1500. Tell me, why did the Naira & the IMF disobey Adeboye’s supreme command?
