building a dex competitor requires capital, especially if you want to build it with the instant-speed infra. right now i've invested heavily into helius laserstream (instant transactions - photon/axiom/gmgn speed) as well as proper API polling. this means we currently operate 8-12 seconds FASTER than dexscreener. most dex "competitors" don't have the custom tradingview chart toolkit (you can see this because they use dexscreener or birdeye api charts; it will show dexscreener or birdeye in the tv chart)- which limits them tremendously. this won't allow a platform to have photon/axiom speed transactions & charts - as well as the sync between all datasets wont work (chart will lagg behind the tx tables or other way around). right now lootscan is fast - but the data sometimes is slightly off (not compared to dexscreener though)- not because it's not real; but because we want the punctual accurracy that photon axiom & gmgn provide. in order to achieve this we need to invest in a database that stores all data from the moment a coin has been created. in the (hopefully near) future - i would like to invest in this. this allows us to pull data extremely accurately & provide instant speed with everything working in sync (mkcap, holdercount, charts tx tables etc etc). just a heads up - we are building towards perfection but we are not there yet. // plank
DexScreener charges $300+ to update a token logo. Is that fair or are we just used to it? I’m building something. Before I do, I want to know what you actually hate about DexScreener and what they got right. Need your answers. The good, the bad, all of it.
