A lot of Americans will hate me for this one because many of you deeply rely on services like this. The United States spends more on healthcare than any country on earth. Mental health spending alone in the U.S. exceeds $280 billion annually, and therapy sessions often cost $100 to $250+ per hour without insurance. Why is it so high? - Therapy is culturally normalized - The healthcare system is largely private - Higher prices per visit - More services being consumed High spending does not automatically mean better outcomes. It often just means higher prices lol and more dependence on the system. If therapy truly helps you, keep going. Nobody is saying you should stop. Most modern systems are designed around management, not resolution. Long-term problems create long-term revenue. That is not a conspiracy. That is economics. Most people search outside for answers that were always inside. Stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout are strongly linked to lifestyle factors like sleep, nutrition, movement, sunlight, relationships, and purpose. These are not random magical forces, they are clear signals from your body and mind. When life makes you uncomfortable, sick, or mentally overwhelmed, it is not always punishment. It is feedback. Sometimes it is awareness knocking on the door. Your body, mind, and soul are asking you to wake up my friend. The modern world teaches you, "I have the solution. You don’t. Come back next week”. Spiritual ancient traditions have always taught the opposite: Know yourself. Observe yourself. Heal yourself through awareness. Question the problem. Question the habits behind it. Question the thoughts that repeat inside your mind. Sit in silence. Feel your breath. Meditate. Pay attention to your body. Become conscious of who you truly are. That is where true healing begins. There is no need to go to extremes. I'm not telling you to reject doctors or avoid hospitals. Use medicine when necessary. Just remember that you are not powerless. You are not broken. You are not just a customer in this corrupt system. You already have the answers within you. It’s time people remember who they are and stop relying so much on external band aids. You are almost always the root of the problem and the root of the solution.
