100% TRUE. I often wanted to put a sign over a trash can, just outside the front entrance that reads “put your creativity here”. The incredible artists who were there were bootstrapped by company wide bureaucracy, mean spirited leadership, wokeness and systemic rot. Your work was constantly put down, making you feel like a failure while at the same time while green-lighting epic garbage. Even the most famous directors were made to feel miserable.

Today was the day I had to give my evaluation on little man to the rescue… and y’all, my heart is just so full and so heavy at the same time. This tiny boy has come so far in ways that probably seem tiny to anyone else, but to me? They’re everything. He’s sleeping on the bed now, curled up on his side right by my feet. He’ll actually take the first treat right from my hand. I can stop his pacing just by softly telling him to lay back down. He wakes me up when he needs to go potty, and the accidents are getting fewer. We’re making progress, baby steps that feel like giant leaps. But he still won’t let me touch him. If I get too close he gets so hyper and agitated it breaks my heart every single time. He doesn’t know what a toy is. Doesn’t know basic commands. He’s still learning how to just… be safe. We have a plan with my vet. We’re talking professional training. I work with him an hour every day in a closed-off space where he can move around and decompress without pressure. We’ve figured out more of his triggers so we can protect him from them. I still can’t touch him… but I keep telling myself the day will come if I adopt. His time as my foster is coming to an end, and now I have to make the decision do I invest everything I have in him, or do I let him go? It would be the easiest decision in the world if I didn’t have the struggles I’m dealing with right now. I want him to have the absolute best life. He deserves a fully functioning human who can play with him for hours, take him on long walks, be everything he needs without limits. And right now… I’m not sure I’m that person. So I’m taking the weekend to really sit with this. To pray on it. To cry about it. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about what I want it’s about what’s best for him and the life he deserves. Little man… you’ve already stolen my heart. Whatever I decide, it will be because I love you enough to do what’s right for you. 💔🐾 #FosterDog #LittleMan #RescueLife #HeartFull

I walk an average of 12,000 steps a day and spent an hr in the car to get to the airport. So…I paced the airport lobby, clocking in 4000 steps. Once I land in LA, hitting the other 8k will be easy as pie.
