Breaking News from China! As of today, May 08, 2026, the #lithium carbonate spot price (in $) climbed to $28,412/ton, up 1.84%. This marks the fourth consecutive day of increasing prices. It also shows an increase of 66% since the beginning of the year, and an increase of 241% since the Second Great Bottom. Meanwhile, as we approach midday, the m-t Li2CO3 futures price is also growing, but at a rather low pace and under relatively high volatility.

Today, 06/05/2026, all #lithium prices, domestic and seaborne, chemical and ore, and spot and futures, increased in the Chinese market. Spot and futures started to climb in tandem to reflect the apparent negative supply-demand gap identified by @AsiaN6809.

Unabhängig wovon @focusonline ? Größter Einzelaktionär von Neptune Energy — der Firma, die auf diesen 43 Mio. Tonnen sitzt — ist mit 49% die China Investment Corporation. Der chinesische Staatsfonds. Strategische Autonomie fängt beim Eigentümer an, nicht beim Bohrloch.

Hier wird gerade der mutmaßliche Täter/Fahrer festgenommen, der in Leipzig in die Menschenmenge gefahren ist. Ich werde so etwas nie verstehen, natürlich heißt es schon, dass er psychisch auffällig gewesen sei. Ja was denn sonst? Niemand, der klar denken kann, macht so etwas. Und eine Anmerkung noch von mir: ich finde es unmöglich, dass es hier Leute gibt, die das sofort wieder einer bestimmten Tätergruppe zugeschrieben haben - ohne jegliche Infos zu haben. In so einem Moment sind zumindest meine Gedanken erstmal bei den Opfern, bevor ich falsche Feststellungen poste - meine Meinung, muss nicht jedem gefallen. Für mich sieht es nach einem gebürtigen Deutschen aus, das macht es weder besser, noch schlechter.

@E_Boeminghaus Das ist nicht das einzige Problem! Weshalb kommen die earnings um 3 Wo früher? Quandt wollte die letzten 10J 2x an Toyota verkaufen! Die Aktien sind mit Tricks hochgehalten. Es wird keiner kaufen. MB,Porsche,VW,alle am abstürzen. In DE kann man kein Auto wirtschaftlich montieren.

Wenn ich vor fünf Jahren 10.000 Euro in BMW investiert hätte, wären daraus heute nominal nur noch rund 9.146 Euro geworden und inflationsbereinigt wäre der Kaufkraftverlust noch deutlich deutlich größer. Der Kapitalmarkt glaubt anscheinend auch nicht mehr an BMW!
