This life is just one big irony. My childhood friend in Aguda, Surulere, knew all his family members one by one as he did mine, slept in his home sometimes when I got in trouble, we loved and rooted for Arsenal together usually at Randy’s viewing centre on Soloki, supported my first business with a feature of himself as an Arsenal fan. Then you die on the same day Arsenal won the league and I’m celebrating until another old mutual friend points my attention to it, this life. Rest in Power, Chiedu Michael Ndika - it’s “XO for Life” over here.

Bola Tinubu cannot be the one sponsoring GEJ, a southern former president to run against him. GEJ will be splitting southern votes, nobody wants him to run because all others believe it’s their turn. We don’t care about your turn, we want a Nigerian president, one we will all vote for. Period!

Obi's supporters seem offended at insinuation that Obi should step down for GEJ. How was it okay for Obi to ask others to step down for him because "it is the turn of the South" but not okay to ask Obi to step down for GEJ who is a more worthy "turn of the South" than himself?

Now that Goodluck Jonathan is running, Obi should step-down to allow Jonathan complete his second tenure, in keeping with Obi's "turn of the South" mantra. If he runs against Jonathan, he'll be affirming his duplicity and hypocrisy

@EmodiMba Why does this sound odd to you? It is his right to vie for the main ticket. He would go through the selection process. If he wins, fine. If he doesn't clinch it and he is offered the VP ticket, it is still his right to accept it or reject it. That is how Party democracy plays
