@BSAT_Properties So let me get this straight — the police can confirm that the car is mine, registered to me, not stolen… but suddenly the generator inside my own car becomes suspicious because I didn’t laminate my receipt and frame it on the dashboard? 🤣

That Generator in your Boot Can Land you in Prison If you don’t have this One Thing You bought your generator with your hard-earned money. You are simply traveling with it maybe from the village to town, from one site to another, or relocating your house. Nothing criminal, right? But let me tell you something many people ignore. If police officers stop your vehicle and see a generator, inverter, television, laptop, or any valuable electronic item inside your car, the first thing that may come to their mind is: “Where did this come from?” And you know why? Because generators and electronics are among the most commonly stolen items. If you cannot show proof that the item belongs to you, you may find yourself explaining for longer than you planned. The item can even be temporarily seized until you prove ownership or you may be arrested in the process where you are unable to prove. That stress alone is something you can avoid. This is why you should always travel with your receipt or any proof of purchase. The receipt shows: Where you bought it The date it was purchased The amount paid Sometimes even the serial number That small piece of paper can save you from unnecessary embarrassment, delay, or suspicion. “But what if I have lost the receipt?” At least keep: 🥢 A photocopy or clear picture of it on your phone 🥢 Bank transaction evidence if you paid through transfer 🥢 Warranty card with matching details 🥢 Any document linking you to the purchase It is not because you are a criminal. It is because the burden may fall on you to show that you are not. In this country, prevention is better than explanation. Before you load that generator into your car, ask yourself: “If I am stopped today, can I prove this is mine?” Save yourself the stress © Confidence Aribibia #BSATProperties

Nigeria may be free of wild poliovirus, but the battle is far from over. In some states in northern Nigeria, communities are proving that when trusted voices lead the conversation, doors open and children get protected. This article shows how royal endorsements, religious leaders, and local CSO mobilisers in Bauchi and Kebbi States turned long-standing resistance into acceptance. A twice-yearly HIV prevention injection could shift the HIV landscape in Nigeria. But without deliberate action on access, affordability, and delivery, innovation will not reach those who need it most. In this #NHWPost, @olikendrick_ & @S_0ko02 make the case for why access, affordability, and delivery must be prioritised now if twice-yearly lenacapavir is to strengthen Nigeria’s HIV prevention response. As we begin the year, the Nigeria–US Health MoU may be the most consequential development shaping health financing and accountability in Nigeria throughout 2026. With nearly $5bn proposed for health, the opportunity is significant. So are the questions it raises about implementation, sovereignty, and long-term self-reliance. “The real test will be whether this agreement reduces aid dependence over time, rather than entrenching it.” Read the #NHWPost by @VIhekweazu & share your thoughts: nhwat.ch/4po5D9V @Fmohnigeria @muhammadpate @NigeriaGov #AmericaFirst
