‼️ We demand answers from Ukraine’s leadership! Photos show the so-called “Ukrainian gold convoy” operation. Hungarian authorities detained seven Ukrainian nationals — including a former intelligence general — who were transporting $40 million, €35 million and 9 kg of gold from Austria to Ukraine in two armored cash vehicles through Hungary. The Hungarian tax authority has launched a money-laundering investigation, and the individuals have been expelled from Hungary. What makes this even more alarming is that since January more than $900 million, €420 million and 146 kg of gold have reportedly been transported through Hungary toward Ukraine. Armored vehicles full of cash and gold moving across Hungary is not how legitimate financial transactions usually work. The real question is simple: who stands behind this money and what is it meant to finance? Hungarian authorities have launched a full investigation. Now those responsible must provide answers.

💰 Europe borrows, spends, and sacrifices its future for Ukraine. Hungary has chosen to take a different path. We will continue to stay out of the war and its financing. Hungarian income serves Hungarian families best.

@IAPonomarenko Zaluzhny has the personality of Yushchenko - a Righteousness without effectiveness who ended up caring for bees more than the country. This general is not competent to lead a post war country.

Frankly, it seems to me that the public reaction is greatly exaggerating the situation by saying Zaluzhny has “launched his presidential campaign” following the that interview in which he blamed Zelensky for the failure of the 2023 counteroffensive. To me, the situation appears much simpler -- that the retired general turned an ambassador without a single day of diplomatic career behind him, had a moment of weakness. And words born of long-accumulated resentment and suppressed emotions and angst slipped out. And it hardly needs to be said how much generals love to blame politicians for their “stolen victories.” The history of his long confrontation with Zelensky is already well documented. And so Zaluzhny ended up making a very loud, very controversial, and likely poorly thought-out statement to the entire world. Which is not characteristic of the cautious and measured public conduct he maintained even during his time in the military. Whatever Donald Trump may be rambling about regarding imminent elections in Ukraine, there is, for obvious reasons, no serious talk of elections right now. Otherwise, figures like Petro Poroshenko or Yulia Tymoshenko would already be loudly proclaiming their inevitable presidencies and running campaigns and agitation up to near-Earth orbit. And now Zaluzhny, who always said he would not speak about his political ambitions during the war and his diplomatic service (a position many respected and that only increased sympathy toward him) would begin doing so like this, and with a scandal? That does not seem 100% plausible to me. Zaluzhny would have been better off continuing to cultivate his image as the “iron general” and the “adult in the room,” appearing less in connection with difficult decisions, giving more speeches in elegant suits at social events in London, publishing thoughtful articles in The Economist, and further strengthening his already huge popularity in Ukraine and the West. As it stands … this is not the beginning of a presidential campaign. He made a mistake, I think. It is a highly questionable self-inflicted wound (regardless of whether he is right or wrong). And it is still unclear how this will affect his popularity. Because very many people in Ukraine strongly disliked such scandalous behavior from a general who himself repeatedly emphasized how important it was to set aside political quarrels and ambitions and preserve unity during the war. Of course, this is nothing but my very own IMHO.

Canadians are not boycotting the U.S. because of POTUS. Ignore the Canadians who say otherwise - they’re literally gaslighting you so they can virtue signal on social media. Canadian cost of living is out of control, the value of their home has collapsed, and they have huge debts. Canadians aren’t boycotting - Canadians are broke.

@AlexBerenson I've seen more people quit opiates than quit cannabis. And by "quit" I mean, anyone smoking daily in the last 10 years or so since the THC concentration went up. Anything people use daily isn't "recreational."

Michael Saylor from MIcrostrategy now Strategy should wait until about 6:30 pm-get a nice look at the S&P futures--and then come in and jam up Bitcoin to $82.500 from $76,500. That way some ill-advised folks will shout double bottom and pay no attention to the break below $80.000
