@rawsalerts Anyone who's been on the boardwalk knows those seagulls are super aggressive and scavenge the trash or idiots feed them so they no longer hunt. I once killed one off shore with an oar when it tried to steal our catch. NJ is lost.

@Pirat_Nation I'll give Starfield another try but the story and companions are generic and boring. Base building has no purpose (currently) and I have no desire to spend eternity looking for rocks and pieces of metal with Sam Coe. That's it's problem

@SDSLLC_USA Since COVID, my doctor takes 2-3 weeks to get an appointment, runs in for 15-30 minutes and then moves onto the next $350 billed to insurance. It's like that everywhere in my state.

I hate to say it, but I no longer trust doctors. Especially after what they did to millions of people during Covid. Today's doctors seem like they're more concerned with everything else, but our health. Do you trust doctors?

@Pirat_Nation I look at it from the other side, they haven't been releasing anything SP that's going to make me go out and buy a PlayStation. The backwards compatibility and monthly fee lost my business.

Sony’s sales data shows that PS5 ports are increasingly losing audience compared to earlier ones, largely due to delayed releases. By the time they reach PC (often 1–3 years later), the hype has faded, spoilers are widespread, and most interested players have already moved on or finished the game on console.

@Pirat_Nation IDK why anyone would buy a PlayStation, you going to get about 10 exclusives B4 they introduce PS6 and tell you not backwards compatible all while paying them a monthly fee. I've seen it 5x already, PC all the way.

Jason Schreier: Ghost of Yotei and Saros won’t come to PC >It was planned earlier but got scrapped as the decision to pull from PC solidified. >Multiplayer games like Marathon and Marvel Tokon will continue to appear on PC. >Externally developed games like Death Stranding 2 and Kena 2 are coming, so those devs may have autonomy to choose. >Possible reasons include poor sales (since they arrived 6-12 months after their PS5 launch) and damage to the PlayStation brand from losing exclusivity.

@Grummz If she surrounds herself with the right people and listens to them and not HR then maybe she has a chance. I have no faith in Microsoft though as a gaming company, heck their other products are all crap now too.

A lot of people are saying it's unfair that she's not getting a break, a chance. At the same time, nearly every gamer is groaning at this and angry. The anger comes from one place: Execs and suits have absolutely ruined AAA gaming. Ever since gaming became more profitable than movies, the suits flooded in. Gamers have seen nothing but greedy monetization, DEI policies, and shitting on gamers for a decade now. And they don't blame the game makers, they blame the suits. And so when you bring in an obvious suit, who has never been in games, and who looks to be pretending to be a gamer, to try to fix a beloved brand like Xbox, there is a riot. Everybody is upset. It's not her, it's what she represents: the mindset that destroyed our favorite hobby. There's a reason Indies are crushing it right now, and it's because those are gamers, making games. While AAA hollows out, whining about a tough gaming landscape, doing anything but taking a look at themselves and realizing they are the ones who destroyed it.

Odd story building up on Xbox's new CEO Asha Sharma. Part of an ongoing rabbit-hole of a discovery concerning Microsoft's new Gaming Division CEO Asha Sharma. We have been told that the new CEO of Xbox will be good for the brand the Microsoft's Gaming Division. That we should just ignore or disregard the incompatible skillset of her work history vs the proper demands as the head of Gaming. Ok fine...but well problems start to arise when the new CEO showed her Xbox account to "dispel doubts". People started scrutinising, and odd things started cropping up: 1. the very FIRST achievement she unlocked was dated...16 January 2026, Halo MC Collection. So it is at best a one month old account. 2. achievements for multiple games unlocked on the same date, implying non organic grinding of various distinct games within the span of one day. 3. 100% completion in short "walking sims" type games like Firewatch (Jan 20, 3-4 hours total), Gone Home, A Short Hike, Townscaper, and BALL x PIT (she played for 43 hours in one week?) 4. How does the future CEO of Xbox have this much time to no-life so many different video games at once in such a short span of time? I doubt the future CEO has this much time to just play games if we are led to believe all her playtime is legit. IF its legit, it also raises questions about her procrastinating in her roles, playing games instead of actually doing work. So what does this mean? Welp people are suspecting that New CEO here, got someone from Microsoft to Stage an Xbox account for her, to manufacture legitimacy and trying to get people to stop scrutinising her nonexistent work experience in Video Games and possibly non-passion for it. Well if that is the case, firstly - they're doing an extremely bad job at it, and secondly - lying to Gamers' faces is just going anger them even more. I would have hoped Satya and Asha realised that, if it turned out Asha's entire Xbox account was really just staged.

@ARmastrangelo My family is 4th gen Italian American and the older generation called it "gravy" because they would put it in the gravy pot on Sunday. Pass the gravy, That's where it came from IMO

One of my pet peeves is when Americans with Italian ancestry try to correct someone by telling them that "sauce" is actually called "gravy." Italian immigrants said "gravy" in the late 1800's because they thought it translated to sauce. But in Italian, there’s actually no word for "gravy." The closest translation is "sugo di carne" which means meat sauce. Calling it "gravy" not only reveals one’s disconnect from the Italian language, but also that their ancestors immigrated to the U.S. more than a century ago. So to Italian immigrants and those whose families immigrated to the U.S. after WWII, it’s cringe. Because calling sauce "gravy" is a very American thing (which is fine), but it’s an American thing that is specifically used to try to come off like it’s Italian. And that gives us second-hand embarrassment. Oh, and calamari is an Italian word. Calling it "galamad" is like calling capocollo "gabagool." Also cringe!

@pcgamer If a game doesn't equal or exceed the ROI is a flop. Putting out a let's "raise" the bar on what's considered a flop think piece is what's wrong with the industry. And no they won't be back but they live in a silo and didn't learn.

It’s sad that I always see hate for Starfield in my feed that have clearly never played it. You don’t see me posting about Madden on the daily bashing. If you played it and it’s not your cup of tea, cool, but to nonstop talk about it, hating. So weird. From XboxSeriesX

@MorgothsReview Excellent series, but the good old days of 20+ episodes a season is what hurt it in the end. Probably could have done better with 1 less season as it was stretched thin in the end.

@RinoTheBouncer gonna be hard to save Starfield. At it's core it's the pick axe mini game from Skyrim in space with a generic main story and followers. Needs a dawnguard level story arc, better crafting, space travel and more.
