@fizapirani This was me EVERYDAY before March 14th. Now when the clock strikes 5, I breathe a huge sigh of relief, since I’ve got a whopping 2 hours to squeeze in my daily dose of sun. This year’s time change has literally changed my life!

anyone else look at the clock around 5 p.m. and freak out because you only have a while to take advantage of the sunshine? I literally saw the time and ran to get my sneakers lol

@lapublichealth Yes I really need to talk to you. How can I stay mentally sane when you’re opening indoor dining, movie theaters, gyms, museums, aquariums, etc when Covid-19 is still a major threat? The fact people want to rush to these places during a global pandemic is making me crazy.

Last week marked the one-year anniversary of when we proclaimed a local emergency for COVID-19 in LA County. If you need to talk with someone, you can call 800-854-7771 or Text LA to 741741.

Also, the best part is how health officials think only people from the same household are eating together. I see groups of people my age with no children eating together all the time. Does the restaurant just assume it’s one big household? If so, they’d be arguing the whole time.

I guess LA wants to celebrate its one-year pandemic anniversary with a bang, literally. What do people who actually work for @lapublichealth think about these re-openings when there’s a possibility of a variant and a very small % of residents vaccinated?

Wait, so lemme get this straight? Covid’s over? I’m very interested in interviewing people who think indoor dining & movie theaters are safe, especially the unvaccinated.
