Just popping in here for the first time since August 2023 to remind you that Elon Musk is a Nazi. Stop using this site/app. I know the alternatives aren’t much better, but none of them have a Nazi at the helm.

@WebOSUser @c2020f3 @StormHour It was my fifth or sixth night trying to get the comet (from different locations). A lot of planning, and trial and error dialing it in. It all came together on that night and then got even better with the lightning. It was so rewarding to have it all pay off.

@WebOSUser @c2020f3 @StormHour The lightning with the comet was totally by chance. I was just thrilled that we had a dark, clear enough sky. We could see the storm cloud moving towards our FOV, but the lightning didn’t start until it was right under NEOWISE, hours after the three bolts at sunset. Crazy.
