In less then 18 months $S went... ...from 2.8b circulating supply to 3.8b circulating supply ...from limited supply to unlimited supply. ...from having active leadership, to not having leadership at all ...from having backing investment companies, to no one backing it ...from having growing ecosystem, to having no active ecosystem at all ...from having hundreds of millions $ in daily volume, to having $8m (dropped from $40m volume to this levels only since launch of FT) ...from having $0.5b in treasury, to not having treasury ...from team liking community, to team blocking their community ...from having supporting community, to not having community at all ...from having developing tech, to not having anyone working on the tech at all There will be dead cat bounces, but each and one will get stuck more people in this project. So why are you giving your best, to make other people join the project and lose their money?

I don't hate $SOL or $XRP. they'll do well. I just know $S is far superior tech wise, fundamentals, tokenomics & will have a better ROI. Dip tastes good.

Once vertical integration starts rolling out, imo $S could become one of the strongest revenue generating alt L1s outside of Hyperliquid. Most chains host activity, but not all of them capture much of the economics. Vertical integration changes that by pulling financial activity closer to the base layer.

@_lfausto Honestly, even though I have thousands of doubts, the whole concept makes sense and is actually promising. I guess I’ll be speaking for quite a decent amount of peeps when I am saying this, the execution by the management will play a huge role.

Traditional L1s vs. Vertical Integration is like Android vs. Apple. Android scaled through openness. It powers most of the world’s devices, but the value is spread across manufacturers, app developers, and service providers. The platform enables activity, yet doesn’t capture the majority of the upside. Apple built differently. It integrated hardware (iPhone, MacBook, etc), software (OS), payments, and services into one coordinated system. When users spend, subscribe, or transact, the economics loop back into Apple’s ecosystem. The tighter the integration, the stronger the value capture. Most L1s today resemble Android: open, independent apps, fragmented tokens, and gas fees as the primary revenue source. Activity grows, but value accrues elsewhere. Vertical integration is the Apple approach to blockchains. - Own the key economic primitives - Align incentives - Ensure that usage, liquidity, and revenue reinforce the base asset Sonic is building the integrated model. By owning and aligning core economic primitives, usage and revenue are designed to compound back into the S token, turning network performance into durable value accrual.

@Tanaka_L2 @SonicLabs FTM/S always was good tech and a great engineering team, the rest of the org prove time and time again they are clueless and dangerous grifters. Vertical integration is another thing mattty made up, meaningless vapour strategy

➥ The Current State of the Sonic Ecosystem CEO Mitchell Demeter and Head of Business Evan Owens have both stepped down hit @SonicLabs hard imo. I’ve been watching @SonicLabs rebuilding after all the recent changes while CT already moved on. Then again, I believe Sonic might be setting up something asymmetric in 2026. 1/ Sonic Labs rebuilt the stack. – Sub-second finality. – 2,000+ TPS. – Fees around $0.001-0.01. – Native secure gateway to Ethereum. Infrastructure-wise, Sonic is not weak. All they have to do is to build a strong narrative that aligns with the current market situation. 2/ The real pivot is vertical integration Most L1s rely only on gas fees, Sonic openly moved away from that. They are launching FeeM (devs keep 90%, rest burned), planning acquisitions of core apps. Most importantly, they’re redirecting ecosystem revenue back to $S. If they actually own trading, lending, payments rails then I do think $S token becomes economic capture token. 3/ Numbers look boring but it’s all solid – TVL ~ $450M including staked $S. – Pure DeFi TVL closer to ~$40M. – DAU around 8k-11k. – DEX volume mostly $1-2M/day. – $S at ~$0.04, ~$150M mcap. This is accumulation phase, derivatives show heavy shorts + Funding negative + RSI oversold. 4/ Ecosystem is small and concentrated As I witness right now, Sonic DeFi is dominated by: – @SiloFinance (~50% of DeFi TVL). – @beets_fi liquidity infra. – Some @pendle_fi, @eulerfinance, @ShadowOnSonic yield apps. Of course, I know it’s not diverse yet but it works still. 5/ The valuation gap $150M mcap for a high-performance EVM L1 with active dev base, existing DeFi stack, working bridge and also a new value accrual model. Compare that to many narrative L1s trading 5-10x higher with less fundamentals. I am saying if vertical integration succeeds, $S token economics could structurally change. And market is not pricing that yet. Yes, I’m not blindly bullish here because Alts already in a bad situation. Sonic still needs more developers, native apps and real revenue proof. But I prefer chains that redesign token model over chains that farm points forever. Sometimes the rebuild phase is where asymmetry lives. @SonicLabs feels like it’s in that phase right now.

Longevity is at the core of our model. With the Equalizer Dust Converter, users can swap dust into $EQUAL - cleaning up their wallet, creating buy pressure, generating fees, and providing useful infrastructure on Sonic ( $S ) As of this week, we’re tracking total $EQUAL bought back to highlight the cumulative impact on the ecosystem.

Unrequested (long) late night USDT0 story: One of the first chains to hear the @USDT0_to pitch was a certain L1. Let’s call it X. My co-founders and I are DeFi-native, and at the time we were close to people operating the X Foundation. Our mentors were skeptical. We genuinely believed in the team. X had strong backing from early DeFi builders and had just gone through a rebrand + upgrade that felt significant in that cycle. In our minds, X was the ideal launch partner. We pulled every favor we could and even had people at Tether who saw the potential in what we were building advocate for us in the telegram chats with X management. Eventually, we got on a call with X’s leadership, a team that had been trying to get USDT on their chain for almost two years. We prepare for 2 days as if it was the most important thing ever. The call starts. I begin what is still, to this day, my go-to USDT0 pitch. Less than 90 seconds in, a person in their management team lies down on his sofa WITH HIS CAMERA ON and starts doing something else on his MacBook, clearly not listening to our value proposition. Two minutes later, he interrupts me, laughs, and dismisses us. He tells us they are one of the best L1s in the world, that they already work with other stablecoins, and that they have no interest in what we are building. He says our product will never get traction and that the status quo is perfectly fine. That’s what they are interested in. At the time, it was frustrating. In hindsight, it was clarifying. A few months later, we met the @inkonchain / @krakenfx team, and what we expected to be a difficult conversation turned into an obvious one. We launched USDT0 there, and traction started to build. Then came the @arbitrum upgrade. Tether entrusted us with ownership of the contract, 1.8B USDT. We went from about 100M TVL to over 2B, and suddenly the market understood what we were trying to do. From there, we kept shipping. Berachain, Sei, Hyperliquid, Flare, Polygon, Corn, and more. Daily volume moved into the 10 to 15M range, then kept growing. What mattered most was that partners started using USDT0 because it solved a real operational problem, not because of narratives, but because of utility. A few months later, I heard that X tried to work with a USDT0 copycat. That effort failed spectacularly. Meanwhile, USDT0 kept growing thanks to some new and exciting chains. Plasma, Mantle, Stable, Conflux, Morph, MegaETH, and more. Today, X isn’t where it once was. The DeFi Builders attention has moved elsewhere, and CT’s tone toward its leadership and communications has become more critical. The governance token is in a though spot, like most others in his market. Today, USDT0 moves about 300M USDT per day across 25 chains. It is the de facto expansion strategy for Tether assets and sits at 4.4B plus TVL. It is the fastest growing cross chain infrastructure in the world. Sometimes, getting laughed out of a room is the best thing that can happen to your project. If you are building something with real utility, something that improves the status quo and solves an actual problem, you cannot give up just because short-sighted people do not see it. Prove them wrong.

@AndreCronjeTech has been significantly involved in Fantom / Sonic for over 8 years. He and I have known each other for equally as long. In June 2018, as a result of the previous team’s mismanagement, I honestly thought the project was over before it even began. But Andre-without asking for anything in return-adapted a lot of technology he had already researched and developed and applied it to the Fantom Project. We built a tech team together, and eventually launched the first mainnet in 2019. Andre then significantly grew the treasury, allowing us to fund further business and technical development. His brain operates faster than anyone else’s I’ve seen. He is extremely creative and a brilliant developer, which is why I’ve personally invested in and fully believe that @flyingtulip_ will be very successful. He has also been very kind and supportive of those around him. That’s why we’ve been friends for more than 8 years.

So seems FT will be launching on Ethereum as the lead chain and not Sonic due to liquidity 🤣 Might come to Sonic depending on liquidity basically means no because there is no liquidity on Sonic because these clowns have run the entire chain into the fucking ground🤷‍♂️ What happened to needing Sonics tech for FT to even run and no other chain could compete? 😅 Years of promises by Andre and co about “Sonic first” all lies. Speaking of the FT team looks like they are collecting Sonic “contributors” for the FT team.
