@AllUKBall_HPS @dubsack270 I’ve had concerns about Pope’s recruiting from the get go … but this stuff is doing him absolutely no favors and makes the narrative worse. Name all these players, fans fall in love with some, they go elsewhere, and those fans are pissed and discount who he does get.

@AllUKBall_HPS I want Pope to target guys he wants and land them. I don’t care which guys he gets, as long as they fit his system and are his top options. I don’t want another offseason of him losing guys to other teams and winding up with his 3rd options … and no guys coming off injuries

Neoklis Avdalas is the prototypical Mark Pope stretch 4.
Outside of PG depth, not having someone like this on the roster is why the offense look so different from year 1.

@KySportsRadio I would have taken/preferred Thomas over Lowe last year. Would have been in the same boat if we had done so. I was more than ok to move on from Lowe due to his injury history … but to replace with another guy coming off an injury doesn’t make sense to me on paper.

@KentuckyNet The Pope whiff list ranking would be interesting. He’s not number 1 for me. I’m gonna go with Caleb Wilson. He’d been awesome and changed the recruiting narrative.
But imagine this years team with Dent at PG with Lewis as backup, Wilson or Yaxel at PF, and Wilkerson at SG

I agree with Cal on a lot of this stuff, but then I also agree with Jay some.
I personally think it would be good for him to be in a leadership role for a CBA if we had one…
It does seem like though sometimes he’s mad that he’s not good anymore in this landscape… which is kind of crazy. He adapted to everything else in his career, but refuses to adapt to this. Maybe it’s old age.

@TheRajGiri Let’s not forget how bad the creative was under Vince. HHH and current team have a better top down approach to the overall card and product than he did. I’ll give Vince the main events/programs tho. Seems every mania season TKO has to intervene in the main events and mess them up

I agree to an extent, I thought that Mondays RAW was a banger. The problem is when they do the bad for stuff at the top of the card that doesn't need it. I love Pat McAffee, but that sucked, and that's in a feud between 2 guys with so much history that the story should write itself. The creative today is still so much better than it was in the late Vince years, but it's been slipping
