1. Dear Christians from other denominations. We respect your faith and your beliefs, and we hope you can keep them and continue to grow in the love of God. 2. Please, the Catholic church has her rules. Whenever you go to a Catholic church, kindly do not receive communion. If you were once a Catholic and you digressed a bit, whenever you attend mass, do not go to receive communion. The latter should go for confession first. Same with Anglicans. 3. You cannot go to a golfclub situated in your village and begin to play in there because it is in your village. You will be kicked out. As a student, you cannot go another school and demand to receive classes and other benefits. 4. Despite the fact that I am a priest of the Catholic Church, in my house, there is a particular chair my dad always sits on. I never sit on it. This is the respect I owe my father. 5. We acknowledge the fact that you live a life of holiness and deep love for Jesus, and that you walk by faith and not by sight, and that you are a child of God, and God is your father. Please do not come out to receive communion. It is against the Catholic laws. Please. Respect yourself and save your soul. God cannot be mocked. 6. Kindly stay back at your seats and pray. We are all Christians but we are not under the same authority. We do not tell you what you do in your church, so do not impose your style on us. If you allow anybody and everybody to receive your communion, good for you. We do not allow that. Respect yourself, God cannot be mocked. 7. In the Catholic church, before one receives the communion, you must be baptised and you must go for catechism class and graduate before you receive communion. God cannot be mocked. Thank you.

@esther_stan @Slick_stanley The issue you described is clearly about power dynamics and workplace culture, not necessarily whether someone is “male-centered.” Expecting employees to perform gratitude rituals for receiving their salaries is unprofessional and humiliating regardless of who owns the company.

I once worked for a female boss. Her husband was the MD and apparently paid our salaries. After pay day, she’ll expect us to thank the both of them. In her words “this country is hard, we pay you well, give you staff lunch while there are people looking for jobs” . An every month humiliation ritual! . Always male centered women.

There was a politician in Lagos who ran for Governor in almost every election cycle. He never won, but he was always on the ballot. Many people believed he was simply being used by the ruling party to split the opposition votes. I am beginning to wonder if the elderly man who runs for President every four years but never wins might be playing a similar role. Same political party. Same body language. Same template every election cycle.

1 Million 1,000,000 (six zeros) If you counted 1 number every second, it would take about 11 to 12 days to reach one million. 1 Billion 1,000,000,000 (nine zeros) That is 1,000 million. Counting one number per second, it would take about 31 years to reach one billion. 1 Trillion 1,000,000,000,000 (twelve zeros) That is 1,000 billion or 1,000,000 million. Counting one number per second, it would take about 31,700 years to reach one trillion. Simple way to see it: 1 million = a large amount of money for an individual 1 billion = the kind of money big companies or very rich people talk about 1 trillion = the kind of numbers governments and national economies deal with Each step is 1,000 times bigger than the previous one. Let That Sink In!!!
Cyborg Warlord@Admiral_Cyborg

Godwin Emefiele has reportedly returned a staggering ₦4 TRILLION to the Federal Government. 4 TRILLION IN NAIRA!!! There's also a claim that he surrendered ownership of six banks linked to him. There's more to it; The former CBN Deputy Governor, Tunde Lemo, is reported to have refunded $500 MILLION. There's also a reported uncovering of $275 MILLION in an account tied to a 6-year-old boy, son of a former presidential aide. An additional ₦1.5 TRILLION was traced to the same family. This probe, being led by Jim Obazee, has allegedly recovered over ₦12 TRILLION so far making it one of the biggest financial crackdowns in Nigeria’s history. Nuhu Ribadu had hinted that the current government inherited a deeply troubled economy due to past looting which he also indicted when he was the chairman of EFCC. They said efforts are ongoing to quietly recover even more funds, despite reported attempts to bribe investigators with millions of dollars. If these revelations are true, this could redefine Nigeria’s fight against corruption. But the day Tinubu's own will happen Nigeria will shake, the world would shake, families would fall. When they seize these monies, it's being used by Tinubu and his chronies to fund 2027 general elections.

A gentleman I know was involved with a colleague in his organization. The relationship was something of an open secret in the office, and the lady happened to be the daughter of a very good friend of the company’s chairman. One day he went on leave for 21 days. Unknown to everyone at work, he travelled to Kwara State and got married both traditionally and in church. He did not inform anyone in the office, not even his boss, and returned to work as if nothing had happened. Eventually the news spread around the office. The lady involved was heartbroken, and when the management heard what had happened, his boss said something striking: “If he could keep something this major hidden from us, I cannot trust him anymore.” Shortly after, he was dismissed from his job. Sometimes the real issue is not just what we do, but how it affects trust, reputation and relationships, especially in professional spaces.

Times are hard, we all need to tighten our belts. This isn't a period to impress anyone. If you can't afford it, don't buy it. Be very deliberate about your cash flow and your spending culture. Anything that is unnecessary should be struck out. ❤️ & 💡

I lost a $1,500 job because of an earpiece. Yessss, you heard me right - because I was literally using an earpiece instead of headphones. That job would have been my highest-paying job at the time. I had passed 2 stages. Just the final stage left - meeting with the CEO. This was November 2024. The client asked: “You don’t have headphones?” I stuttered. I was numb for a while. I didn’t think that would mean anything or that it would ever come up in an interview. Before I regained consciousness that I was supposed to “lie” to cover up… maybe say something like: “Oh, I have one. It got spoiled. I’m getting another ASAP.” The next lines that dropped felt like a brutal lie. It was actually a brutal lie. She knew. I was given an opportunity to sell myself to the CEO. But... The interview ended about 6 minutes in. I cried. Woke up the next day, went straight to the market, and bought a nice noise-cancelling headphone. Remote work is no longer the same. Level up mehnnn!!!

The truth is that we appear differently in the eyes of different people. To some, you are the standard of beauty. To others, you pass by unnoticed. To some, you are a genius at what you do. To others, you barely cross their mind. To some, you are an incredible friend. To others, you are simply a stranger. To some, you are the person they could spend their life with. To others, you are not someone they would even consider dating. To some, you are a teacher. To others, you are still learning. To some, you are a guide. To others, you are just beginning your journey. In someone’s story, you are a shining light. In another’s, you might be the darkness. The reality is that we exist in many different versions in the minds of others. Each person carries their own perception, their own experience, their own story about who we are. But the only version that truly shapes your life is the one you believe about yourself. No one knows your heart, your struggles, your intentions, or your growth better than you do. So be kind to yourself. Believe in your worth. And remember that the most important voice you will ever listen to is your own.

Always check your receipts before leaving the supermarket
Liquid Fragrance@CNwaroh

My friend and I went to @bokkumart yesterday to get groceries. Amongst everything we got yesterday was 10 packs of noodles- 2 oriental noodles and 8 chicken flavor indomitable noodles. Please tell me why I was going through the receipt this afternoon to reimburse her and I was seeing that the cashier entered 48 packs of noodles. 48!!!! I understand that mistakes happen but why did we go to @bokkumart to get a refund and there was no formal process for quick resolution?? First we were told we had to wait for hours. Wait for hours at bokku ke?? Asin wait in a mart that has no seats? Then we were asked to drop our receipt and come back later? Drop the receipt as how??? As in, make I drop my Exhibit A??? Following our refusal to drop our receipt, they went on their system to check for the transaction and there was no trace of said transaction on their system???? @bokkumart there’s a reason I spent 5 years in the uni and an extra year in Law School. You guys have pissed me off enough today. Do the needful immediately.

My experience with @AltBankNg Alternative Bank has been the most frustrating banking experience of my life. I opened an account last year on recommendation, but for 12 straight months it has been one issue after another. Despite countless emails, phone calls, and five physical visits to the bank, I was never able to properly use the account for even a single day. First, two referees I provided were rejected, so I had to get a third and fourth. Then I was told I needed SCUML to operate the account, even though EFCC confirmed it was not required for my registered business. Later, when I changed phones, I was locked out of the app for months. When access was finally restored, the account was suddenly restricted again because of “incomplete documentation.” After one full year of stress, delays, and no real progress, I made the decision to close the account and withdraw the small balance inside. I sincerely hope the bank improves its processes so other customers don’t go through this experience.
ROYALTY ™ (THECHAINDOLL)🪽@thechaindoll_

There’s a digital bank in Nigeria called The Alternative Bank. You don’t need to go to the bank You don’t need to queue. You download the app, get on a call with your personal bank agent, and they help you: – Open your account – Set up your virtual card – Activate everything immediately The virtual card works for online payments, subscriptions and international transactions (and cost so less). If you have any issue, you just message the agent on WhatsApp instead of going to the bank and they guide you. Very smooth process and No stress. If you want to get started now Type interested and I would give you her contact
