The consensus is that these political terms originated from seating arrangements that were in use in the National Assembly during the French Revolution, whereby those in the Second Estate (the nobility, seated on the right of the presiding officer) stood for more traditional values, while those in the Third Estate (the commoners, seated on the left) championed for constant change. This seating pattern repeated itself throughout history in many governments. Point understood and accepted. Nonetheless, the Left wades further into insanity, depravity, and the defense of evil, corruption, and unelected power, while the Right works to excise all of those things in America and Western civilization and rebuild us back into the Founding Fathers’ vision of a nation built on Godly principles, of the People, by the People, and for the People. I can’t help but draw a rather ironic correlation that on Judgment Day, it is those on King Jesus’ Right that he will accept as his sheep, who will receive eternal life with him in Heaven, while those on his Left are the goats, who will receive eternal condemnation in the pit of Hell. Hmm. 🤔 Thoughts?
