Perspective is everything. Experience is paramount. Of course, I want to help Montréal, Québec, and Canada. This is my adopted home—it’s the place that gave me an opportunity and where I built everything. But it’s also about perspective & experience. Take the so-called “language laws.” French is what makes Montreal not only unique, but great. It’s one of the many reasons why @MLB will likely view @Montreal favorably. Now, my perspective—being born in Iran, even if I’ve spent most of my life here (since age 6)—is shaped differently. I can understand why some in the Anglophone community feel frustration (I get it). But to me, it’s all relative. Under the Islamic Republic of Iran, when the government wants you to do something and you don’t, the consequences can be life or death. Here, we have the OQLF. Are all the tactics effective? Maybe not. But I understand the intent, I’m fully bilingual, and frankly—it’s not that big of a deal. If I disagree or don’t comply, I don’t leave the meeting in a body bag. I don't expect the Anglophone community to see it that, it's just to convey why NOTHING fazes me. So yes—perspective matters. But so does one's experiences. I also sincerely believe in taking a so-called obstacle/challenge and turning it into a positive. That's another form perspective, or vantage point.

Don’t just think @Montreal_Expos baseball stadium, think of 4C and - a museum honouring montreal, - a pavilion showcasing the world, - a school of entrepreneurship and - 5k-sized sphere behind hotel dieu. - retain volleyball, tennis options Not just size, but zoning, and the PR & optics of there being a stadium right next to Mount Royal and the residential area to the East?
