From Nollywood legends to Afrobeats giants, Lagos’ creative energy is unmatched. Last night, I joined Mo Abudu at EbonyLife Place to celebrate the global talent and cultural connection between London and Nigeria. These connections matter, and they’re growing stronger.

I visited Lagos this week to strengthen ties between London and one of Africa’s fastest growing cities. Fantastic to celebrate so many achievements in culture, creativity, tech & sustainability, while championing new trade & investment opportunities between our two great cities.

This sort of thing happens when the originals from areas sell up & let those usually from shires buy them out. They move to LDN for the money & band together & force areas in LDN to mimick the shires their from, with no regard or care for existing cultures in the area.
