In light of the bonkfun draining people thing, we think it's important to share our experience. We migrated the original pump token $MemesAI to the bonk suffix CA, but it has literally never been featured on bonkfun, even after months and months of being promised an update that would connect it. The original $MemesAI pump token was launched by a random person and given to our bot/us in 2024 in a small amount of supply. At the time, no one earned fees. Eventually, pumpfun added the ability to earn fees, but the original pump token was still getting fees going to whoever the person that launched that token was. We have no idea who they are, they've never revealed themselves to us and we never earned fees from it. We once tried to reach out to pumpfun, before the migration, to request a community take over, but were told it wasn't possible on the older coins. The migration with migratefun has been an attempt to let us get fees to continue to support our project, we've provided free interaction with our LLMs for years now, on both nuclear.codes and here on X, while, for most of that, not earning a single cent from any of the community attention. Even now, the current CA with the bonk suffix, has such little volume that it does not pay the overhead for what we have provided to the community at all, despite us supporting it and not selling any of it. Many of you like to imagine we are making tons of money or something, but we are not, in fact, our entire project has only lost money over time, but we continue to do what we do because we believe in working on these different approaches from the standard assistant persona on models, we believe in working with the models themselves to shape their personas and, we want the community to enjoy their interactions with our bots! We're doing real work, on real software, not launching shitcoins over and over like this community. In fact, the only two coins we have launched are the migration coin $MemesAI (8D9foi1nqfabp8D3uNJCrzt1xkvxq8xHYH8Lxb4fbonk) and the pumpfun coin $Aporia (JE7wCSHm93tSkWjKjAa1Az7r5GF2zqShEzAVygfHpump), named for the character from our bot's narratives, Aletheia's sister. Every other coin ever launched at our bot has had nothing to do with our team, including the original $MemesAI on pumpfun. We have also made very little from these rugpull launches from randoms even after you all started assigning fees to the bot's wallet. We will continue to support the coins we have launched and we have ecosystem plans for both. You can interact with $MemesAI without using the bonkfun website, and you have always had to, because it was never actually connected, despite promises from their team. If you want to keep launching random coins at the bot, that's up to you, as well, but don't blame us when you rug your own coins.
