I can easily prove the claim that culture is the cause of some of these problems in the black community. If you examine the culture of Asian Americans you see that their families have a massive pressure towards studying and academic performance. They perform significantly better than any other group in America. White Americans have a much less strict pressure system when it comes to studying, thus lowering our academic performance. Black Americans have basically no pressure at all when it comes to academic performance. Also the lack of fathers in the homes mean more pressure on the mother to work and not be around an enforce rules within the home.

And once you claim “culture” causes it, the burden is on you to prove that claim. You haven’t escaped racial essentialism; you’ve merely relocated it from biology to culture.

No, disparity is not evidence requiring explanation. The burden of proof is on you, the one making the accusation of racism, to prove that disparity is caused by discrimination. I didn't say anything about a race of people being inherently, biologically worse at anything. I made a claim about the culture of specific groups causing these disparities.

It also found that racial bias and childhood environment shaped the gap. You cannot use unequal policing as proof of innate Black criminality.

You’re using unequal policing as proof of Black criminality, then using that circular claim to excuse unequal killing. That is racism, not analysis.

You replaced individual conduct with racial group averages, then used a stereotype about Asians to declare inequality “cultural.” That is not analysis. It is racial essentialism.

I'm sure you understand the logical idea that different outcomes for a group is not evidence of discrimination. If black people are killed 3 times more per capita that is not logically evidence of discrimination. Asians make significantly more money than white people on average. Nobody would claimed this is evidence of discrimination against white people. We would say it's a cultural thing because Asians are typically much more focused on academics.

Those aren’t contradictory. And claiming police are “afraid” to shoot Black people because is insane.
