Fun fact: It is typically illegal to sell a puppy younger than 8 weeks old because it’s considered cruel to separate it from its mother, but unfortunately corporate America expects women to return to work 4 weeks after giving birth.

This is so sad.

@motel_bunny @BIvicek @Rach4Patriarchy That's not true. She got married very young but was abused and abandoned by her first husband. She didn't even file for divorce, the guy did. She had a legitimate claim to get divorced and still refused to compared to many women today that get divorced over literally nothing.

@BIvicek @Rach4Patriarchy Ignore Rachel. Shes a dumb bitch who didnt even get married til she was in her 30s, even though she didnt go to college/have any significant career. She worked as a shitty hair stylist for most of her career. With the emergence of podcasts, shes privileged now to not work 9-5.

@masterkevkev @MJinthewild @KirscheVerstahl He's actually correct about that specific statement. If the law can't prove that he reasonably should understand that she is not consenting then he can't be convicted of rape. Like if a woman openly, happily consents but says later "actually I didn't really consent".

@MJinthewild @KirscheVerstahl My first reply is incorrect. It was, in fact, not the stupidest fucking thing I've read all day. You one-up it in front of me every time. 👍 I'm glad "Dumb enough" is an excuse for someone to do this to you... I hope nobody is retarded enough to harm your family tree like this.

@Fair_and_Biased My mother made "soup beans" for the family when we were all kids. A whole meal for the entire family for like $5. All 5 of us with some leftover.

This is nonsense. My great grandmother was poor. She raised her own chickens and butchered them in the backyard. My grandma was poor, too. She made “hot dog stew”- which my mom still remembers with dread. As for DoorDash, I was gifted a DoorDash credit and ended up paying over $100 for what would have been a $60 meal in the restaurant. It’s predatory pricing that relies on your need for convenience. No one poor can afford it. Nobody should use it- not even the wealthy. It’s a waste of money. P.S.- The poor shop at grocery stores just like everyone else. They cook dinner like everyone else. It’s almost like poor people are mythical, and we can make up whatever fantasies about them we want.

Taylor Lorenz says "big leftists online" are "shaming/abusing" poor ppl by criticizing them for splurging on DoorDash. She calls food delivery services "a tax on the poor" and says the poor don't have time or capacity to prepare their own food.

@KropolisGaming People do need to learn to cook. Like yesterday. But I think we are also talking about how lunch is ridiculously un affordable. A rich man is telling the regular people how to live.

@JordyVanDemLemb @KropolisGaming When i was doing a hard physical labour job inbetween uni, i used to make grilled steak subs. Multi-grain sub, lean-ribeye, provolone cheese (self cut), bell peppers, sweet onions, cremini mushrooms, garlic-herb avocado mayo, avocado oil (searing beef), garlic powder + sea salt.

@huninn1 @pDamian1812 @KropolisGaming My guy, a basic sandwich does not cost $4 to make at home. Pack of ham $5, has 10 servings so $0.50 per serving. Pack of cheese $3, one slice maybe $0.10 White bread $2 loaf, 2 slices maybe $0.15 Mayonnaise $3, one serving $0.05 I can make a sandwich for less than $1.

@pDamian1812 @KropolisGaming Depends where you live and if you're using unhealthy ingredients like white bread, mayo, cheap deli slices of meat/cheese. If you buy that in the middle of wyoming, youre looking at maybe 4$ a sandwich.

@huninn1 @KropolisGaming The fuck kind of shit are you putting in your salad? A bag of lettuce or spinach is like $2. Tomato $0.50 Salad dressing, 1 serving $0.10 Chicken, 1 serving $1 Please explain to me how you calculated $18 for one salad.

@KropolisGaming Depends where u live and what u cook. If i want to make a salad, boom $18. If i want to make a basic healthy sandwich, boom 15$. At this point you're looking at uni-level food prep - chicken and rice for a week, to be affordable. There's an affordability crisis.

@Slow_Mangos @SlimWeepaw @Awk20000 Oh yeah, I'm sure if schools started offering cooking and homemaking classes that conservatives would be totally against that.... My guy, that would be great.

@SlimWeepaw @Awk20000 You would be shocked to learn who advocated for less funding in public schools causing them to remove those cooking classes.

@forlornang15223 @Awk20000 Yeah because he's a millionaire and can afford to do that. Low income people can't afford to do that but they do and then wonder why they stay broke.

@Jalter_Says @Awk20000 I worked as a fucking dishwasher at a restaurant making $7.25 an hour for a long time. I still cooked my own food because it's like 10 times cheaper. I ate ramen noodles for like half my meals because they cost nothing basically.

@Awk20000 Na. I agree with Taylor. A lot of you seem to never have actually worked a deadbeat job and it shows. People don't got the time in the morning. People don't got the energy and push after work. People literally are grinding so hard in the poor life that they rely on delivery.

@SyntheticBeef @Rustydelgado21 @sircalebhammer Seriously. These people are just entitled. I give them a direct guide of how to meal prep for 5 times less money and then they say "I don't want to eat the same thing every day".... Then fucking go grocery shopping like an adult? Like wtf...
