@alexcooldev Analyze the people and targets audience’s pain points first before coding or even writing PRD.

I like this way of thinking: Don’t build something just because you’re passionate about it while users don’t actually need it. And don’t blindly build random apps either. Find the distribution angle first. My workflow: > Find viral content in a specific niche > Study the hooks, formats, pain points, and comments > Identify what users are already interested in > Check whether the niche can monetize through subscriptions or one-time purchases > Test different content angles before building > Build the simplest app that solves the problem > Create content using the formats that already proved they can go viral > Track views, installs, conversion, retention, and revenue > Improve the product based on real user behavior > Scale the best-performing channels with more organic content or paid ads Distribution first. Product second. Build the product around a proven path to users. It reduces risk and significantly increases your chances of success.

if i had to start from ZERO, here’s how i’d get to $10k mrr with a mobile app 👇 1. choosing the app niche looksmaxxing, fitness, wealth - anything that appeals to core human desires is a MUST 2. designing the app for ads a viral screenshot-able feature like cal ai’s “ai calorie logging” - this will allow me to make ads really easily without making the user feel sold to (as i can just show the screenshot of the feature briefly) 3. getting ad-ready SUPER IMPORTANT: add an MMP to my app, for conversion tracking later when i run ads - either appsflyer, singular… 4. making the ads study competitors on instagram / tiktok - see what hooks their using and translate their formats to my own app - i’ll make 12-30 variants of 1-2 formats ive found 5. running the ads i prefer tiktok ads for mobile apps but meta does fine too - one campaign, one ad set, all my ads in the ad set - $50 a day budget to find a winner; then scale up spend once i’ve got a profitable ad that’s literally it. i wish id known this earlier because i spent thousands of $ on ugc and influencers that didnt work for me the most important part: DESIGN YOUR APP FOR ADS FROM THE START

@BrianMRey Research before building even before writing PRD. 1. Search on Reddit see if any post exist. 2. Talk with few people from target audience to see the real pain points. 3.Check semrush to see if any related keywords searching.

@jenzhuscott Buiding is easy but usefulness isn't and Distribution is the real moat.

@marzooqahq Our DTC site also seeing this. The share of traffic and revenue driven by AI recommendations is keep rising. The AI will complete the purchase in the feature, thus the marketing are for the AI Agent in stead of the "real customers".

@soveesu we're seeing this already. ranked a B2B SaaS for their category in AI search earlier this year. 825% traffic increase in 3 months, 6 figure revenue from organic in under 6 months more people are finding products through AI recommendations than through searches now

Start treating AEO as seriously as SEO. Old world: People typed keywords into Google/Bing or scrolled ads on Facebook/Instagram. You optimized for clicks, rankings, and ad targeting. Now: People just ask an AI — “What’s the best tool for Reddit marketing?” or “Help me pick a growth tool under $100/mo.” The AI synthesizes, cites, and recommends. No separate search step. Future (very soon): AI agents will do the full job — research options, compare features/pricing/reviews, negotiate, and even complete the purchase. When that happens, the “customer journey” shrinks from multiple touchpoints to one conversational flow with an AI middleman.

For now days meta ads, content is the more important as meta is mainly driven by AI system. The system knows your content and descide who to deliver.

@soveesu citation depth is the whole game now, structure your content so an agent can extract a clean answer and the middleman just picks you without a human ever seeing the page

@YahavFuchs For AEO, this is a massive opportunity for smaller, authentic teams. You don’t need huge ad budgets — you need consistent, high-quality participation in the conversations AI already reads.

Most DTC founders don’t have an ads problem. They have a truth problem. Meta says one number, Google says another, Shopify says another, and the team still makes budget decisions from platform ROAS

Your customer reviews are not just social proof. They are a hidden ad angle library. I’m building an AI tool that reads ecommerce reviews and extracts: why people buy what they worry about what language they use which hooks are worth testing what PDP copy should be improved The first tool is called: Shopify Review Angle Miner I’ll test it on real products this week. Comment “REVIEW” if you want me to analyze your product reviews. #ShopifyStore #buildinpublic #shopify #ecommerce

For starting vibe coding with chatgpt and codex, I reccomend to give codex a build package instead of only the PRD. For every new tool/app, prepare these files: /docs/PRD.md → what we are building and why /docs/TECH_SPEC.md → stack, architecture, database, API, components /docs/TASKS.md → step-by-step implementation tasks /docs/AI_CONTEXT.md → rules Codex must follow #codex #chatgpt

Indeed. And I am facing such pain from the daily job. Multi accounts with massive data then cant find the reason of the drop to make a decision.
Bhavesh Primalani@itsbhaveshp

@soveesu this makes sense because the pain is real. people are drowning in data and still can’t make a decision
