We used to have this kind of carnival procession every Easter Sunday and Easter Monday in Onitsha, specifically at Zik's Avenue in Fegge many many years ago. The event is market by the procession of different kinds masquerades like Izaga, Ijele and and many more, with young people with long canes engaging in cane fights. It's usually a spectacle that we all eagerly anticipate every Easter as children. Then suddenly the events were banned because criminals infiltrated it and used it to cause chaos. I miss it so bad . Can't wait for it to return.

I have learnt something about the Igbos!!! AY is a Yoruba man who accused Basket Mouth, an Igbo man of not paying him on time for a show he did for him in the past.
