One thing my husband and I hate is the word secularism. Both of us are products of Nerhuvian education and both of us are politically aware so we won’t be passing on this secular BS to our kids.

I follow a couple of Indian influencers on Instagram, all well into their late twenties or early thirties. They are rich, speak fluent English, fly abroad atleast 4–5 times in a year, all have atleast 1 sibling. But then…. that’s all. I’m talking about both men and women.

@sowmitritweets i forgot to add the most important part. Ample love and affection from parents and especially from mothers generally leaves kids with little need to seek it elsewhere. Loneliness leads to stupid decisions too.

Disgust towards Ms is a natural instinct in any healthy mind, but the world we live in suppresses that instinct to an extent. I think simply getting your kids involved more deeply with Hinduism, encouraging them to be physically, mentally and spiritually strong should do the job.

Population collapse in the current majority community. Minority is set to steadily grow in the coming decades. Ideally the people who are having 1 kid should worry about the social safety and network of that kid once he/she grows up.

India isn’t ready for the population collapse that’ll come in 1-2 generations. it’s only me & one more friend of mine in our age group who’ve 2 kids. Majority don’t have kids, couples with 1 kids are around 35/36 age; so they’ll probably stop with one. investing in real estate would be a foolish thing to do, given that the TFR is gonna drop huge.
