@JPR_25 I agree with everything, great points. But I can’t agree with the idea that U10 don’t need a warm‑up drill. To me, it makes no sense to start any activity without activating both body/mind. If not for the warm‑up itself, then at least for developing the habit of warming up.

If I had 45 minutes with a U10 group… Here’s exactly how I’d structure it. No lines. No lectures. Maximum engagement. 👇

The first episode of Dear John was broadcast on this day in 1986. Written by John Sullivan it ran for two series (14 episodes) and starred Ralph Bates, Peter Blake, Peter Denyer, Rachel Bell and Belinda Lang.

Spurs confident of appointing an experienced interim head coach before Monday, when the players return, who can make an instant impact before appointing a permanent manager in the summer. The interim candidate will have a chance over the coming months to stake their claim.

@spursshow @GlennHoddle Not sure I agree with your scattergun strategy of appointing ex-players. Having been a fan for 55 years, I reckon I ‘get’ the club, the history & the fans but that doesn’t mean I’d have a clue as to how to set this lot up tactically. Or how to motivate them.

Thomas Frank sacked today, he’s had some crippling injuries to a lot of talented players he couldn’t call upon . A big reason why we didn’t see him flourish at Spurs . This is a fact not excuses . For eg if Joe Root was having to bat with half a bat you couldn’t expect much !

I think I just Britain’s rudest cyclist. He was annoyed at the way I changed lanes, and in future I will signal earlier. But this tirade broke all records. I need to know if he’s in a customer-facing job. It’s all here:

Seen this doing the rounds on Franks team talks. Maybe it’s because I don’t like the bloke at all. But, kick it long and win your 50/50s to a team of premier league footballers just doesn’t feel inspiring enough for me. I still play Saturdays and I’ve never been told that!!!

Eintracht Frankfurt have conceded three goals in every game they’ve played in 2025 - that’s five matches. So, not really a night for Tottenham to put up 0.37xG.

@GaryRWard We have a depleted squad, lots of big games ahead, so why would Frank keep a high tempo press in the second half when we were already 2-0 up against 10 men. Seeing the game out calmly was the intelligent thing to do to put less pressure on the squad.

Important 3 points & a home win in the Champions League, but it doesn't paper over the problems. Thomas Frank did tonight something hes not done much of, if at all since joining us in my opinion, partly because of what he had available. Rather than, as he normally does & focus his set up & personel around the opponent, he was almost forced to look at the 11 fit outfiedlers & find a system that suited them, rather than trying to counter the opposition. The first half was excellent in spells & credit for that, but the 2nd we again sat back & invited 10 men on. If Frank is in charge on Saturday, it wouldn't surprise me to see us back to a 4231, two defensive-minded players in the pivot & sitting back hoping to nick a set-piece goal, rather than attacking, being daring. A very important win, but it doesn't change much for me, the long term isn't Thomas Frank. #THFC #SPURS #COYS #TOTTENHAM

@spurredon10 @simonyemane Can’t imagine the dread he will be filling as he arrives at the stadium. As you said, although this adventure has gone terribly wrong, he seems like a decent guy and hasn’t deliberately been doing a bad job. Rip the band aid off and move on.

@simonyemane Agree. What makes it worse is that as much as I dislike Frank’s footballing style and he is such a bad fit for the club and needs to be gone is that I have no doubt he’s a nice bloke and I get no satisfaction him getting the abuse again tomorrow night when he is clearly going

Oh man. They really don’t get this club, do they. These people are not an improvement on Levy; they’re showing us they’re the same or worse. Sending Frank out in front of the home fans on Tuesday isn’t going to change anything. It’s just setting him up for more unpleasantness.
