MATHEMATICS NO LONGER COMPULSORY FOR UNIVERSITY ADMISSION IN MANY COURSES IN NIGERIA The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced a major policy adjustment regarding university admission requirements in the country. Director of Public Affairs and Protocol of JAMB, Fabian Benjamin while on the NTA programme "Good Morning Nigeria" says Mathematics will no longer be a requirement for admission into university courses only for some specific courses.
