I went through and found that really-speaking here majority of these examples suck as insincere or petty
Especially when the majority of this series isn't even written by Flynn
You can make a case for one line from Shadow's episode and the Jet episode but that's about it 1/2

like you can see it clearly through things like tails tube they undeniably are written and directed to sound more "witty" as flynn calls it. but to me it sounds really insincere and petty. especially with the whispered dialogue

I think wanting Sonic to not be written like this is perfectly fine but every time that insincere part comes up it feels less serious than just saying “I’d prefer something else” and leaving it at that.

This is just incorrect.
Roger has said they were given previous actors as references and molded their performances from that, with direction coming down from higherup (no SOA freelancing).
No evidence they were told to sound “unserious” what you’re hearing is imitation drift

I had a theory that the reason the English cast still sounded weird was because we're still in the meta era, in the sense that SOA believes Sonic still can't be taken seriously and, therefore, the voices sound like parodies of themselves. Looks like i wasn't too far off.

I can also agree new talent would make sense eventually I just don’t think that means Roger is incapable or needs replacing right now.

@jondrawz Also fact of the matter is that Roger in Free Riders and Generations was so much younger than he is now. He was at his peak back then which was almost 20 years ago.
Dude’s 50 now, he’s never gonna be able to do that again off of age.

RCS as an ACTOR is capable of doing his voice as Sonic in a genuine or softer tone because he as an ACTOR is capable.
I would advise either of you to bring that critique up to... 1/2
