On 23rd December 2025, Hon. Minister @arjunmodhwadia ji presided over Gujarat #SpaceTech Round Table. MoUs were signed with 6 pioneering startups, catalyzing Gujarat’s role in Bharat’s space economy.

🚨 Hyderabad-based deeptech aerospace startup @spantrik successfully tested their VTVL vehicle, Hopstone.

This platform lets us run controlled takeoff, hover, and landing tests to ensure our guidance algorithms, sensors, and thrust-vector control work exactly as expected. These demonstrations de-risk the technology before we integrate it into our reusable Rocket, Leapfrogger.

We test our rocket avionics the only way that matters—by flying them. We built a mini VTVL vehicle to test and validate our avionics, TVC, and GNC systems in real flight conditions.

@GigaGobiyashi @SJha1618 Both stages will use LNG and LOX. Each engine produces 1000kN. The 2nd stage is something we would share in the future.

@spantrik @SJha1618 Wow 😲. I have a few questions - What fuel & oxidizer you guys planning to use in 1st and 2nd stages - how much thrust your 1st stage engine will produce - how you planning to bring the 2nd stage back. Like starship or stoke nova ?

Now this is interesting. @spantrik has put on display at #AeroIndia2025 a model of their Raven fully reusable satellite launch vehicle design. This is apparently being designed to put 14 tons (22 tons in expendable config.) in LEO and 5 tons in GTO when optimized for the latter in reusable mode. It has a LNG/LOX engine capable of 5KN thrust that has already been tested for quick start and restart as well. The sub-scale 'leapfrogger' will be tested in March 2025.
