I genuinely don’t understand what feels like a clear, industry wide effort to stamp out kids and YA content from TV I GUARANTEE you people of all ages want shows like everything from Hannah Montana & iCarly to Buffy & Degrassi But kids and teens *deserve* shows made *for* them.

My wife was sent to the ER from urgent care this morning with suspected appendicitis and she’s been here all day, unable to eat, drink, see a doctor, or even get anyone to deal with her empty IV that now has blood in it, thanks to — guess what? — the Covid surge.

Whether you realize it or not, Carmilla's popularity opened doors for many other queer genre projects. It also proved that queer women were a demo that could and should be marketed to (re: Kotex) Its impact cannot be overstated.

Saw someone say Carmilla was Heartstopper for queer women and that makes sense.
