Mine was around 1pmooo. I was busy asking the driver to stop speedingooo. After a while, driver noticed that there was no oncoming vehicle mentioned it but said when he gets to a neighboring town he would park. 5 minutes later we got to where motorists on our lane were all parke and we stopped too. Driver tried to enquire about what was going on and we were told kidnappers were in front. We stayed an extra 10minutes on that road and there was still no oncoming vehicle. I alighted from the vehicle took my id card and my hand bag. Put a few calls through to give an idea of my location just in case something happens. I looked at the people in the same vehicle with me and said, ‘seems you people don’t like your livesooo. So if kidnappers come they would just pack all of you inside this vehicle and you won’t be able to run’ We waited for a while before we saw an oncoming vehicle with some men in it shouting. Apparently, it was the villagers that went to chase the kidnappers. The annoying part was that an army checkpoint wasn’t far from where this was happening. We waited for more vehicles to pass before the driver asked us to get into the vehicle so we could continue our trips. That man drove like a mad man afterwards. I was begging him to speed more. Unfortunately the kidnappers raided about 3 siennas. We saw their vehicles abandoned on the road. I’ve never been that scared in my lifeeee.
