Radical leftist progressives have always been the problem through out most of history. Communism, Marxist, KKK,Jim Crow and I'd say even Nazism have all followed radical progressive ideologies. Yes the radical right is crazy as well but most of what you call MAGA is more centered that the left would like because anyone that doesn't blindly agree with them is labeled far right and then dismissed. Most people don't want to admitt the all of these subjects are far more nuisanced and actually need to be talked about the the right (GOP) (MAGA) seem to be willing to talk to while the left (Democrats) seem only to want to scream at. If people make a honest try to have a conversation in good faith thangs can and will change slowly but not until then.
