This is the last photo taken of my mom and me, 25 years ago today. I was flying back to my 2nd year at Columbia after spending the summer in Seattle. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer, a glioblastoma, in Oct. 1998 and died 3 months later. I still miss her terribly.

What lesser-known Broadway gem do you think deserves more recognition (shows past or present!)?

@MarkRavenhill2 Janet McTeer, Audra McDonald, Jessica Hecht, Mark Rylance, to name a few. But it’s important to me to not just see crossover stars. I’ll only see a show populated with both “names” and working theatre actors. And I’m actually less likely to see a musical staring tv “name” actors.

Who is the actor you would go to see in a play without knowing much else other than that they were in it? Thinking about who today is a ‘box office’ draw … comment below. Many thanks.
