@1swolescholar @takuya8212 @Sentletse I have no skin in the game. I don’t care. It’s not cope. Sunroof drains can and will plug on any car. When they do they leak. Just because you have 20+ years of them not plugging and leaking doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen to others. What a stupid argument.

Americans were talking rubbish about Chinese cars after the Beijing Auto Show. This is the crap they are manufacturing. It is a brand new Chevrolet Tahoe. It comes with a unique rain feature.

@_Adelite @UncleJune3 @takuya8212 @Sentletse Notice that this is an individual vehicle having this issue and not hoards of them. Some people plug them up with debris, the other 99.99% dont.

@Ghostlautaaya @Sentletse Probably location dependent. They’ll have better luck getting it fixed at a GM dealer than a Ford owner would be getting it fixed at a Ford dealer.

@Manabozo_ @Calvin75741792 @Sentletse The seal on almost every sunroof I’ve ever seen leak to some level and rely on the drains. If they end up with debris on their roof and then open the roof, debris gets in the channels/ drains.

@specialestness @Calvin75741792 @Sentletse Mine doesn't. The roof has to be open to gather debris from the tree your sitting under. It's more than likely they left the roof open during a rain storm and they have a moon roof shield that gathered the water.

@UncleJune3 @takuya8212 @Sentletse I’m not arguing whether it’s poor quality or not. Don’t point to something like clogged drains on a 2-4 year old vehicle and use that as an example of it being poor quality. This can and does happen on anything of varying qualities.

@UncleJune3 @takuya8212 @Sentletse What? Using my brain? This is a pre mid-cycle refresh Tahoe, so it is definitely not new. It’s leaking just in front of the sunroof. Shocking right?!? Why do sunroofs leak? Because the drains clog. My goodness

@Ghostlautaaya @Sentletse The fix is to unclog the sunroof drain of this 2-4 year old Tahoe. This is a basic problem that any vehicle with a sunroof could suffer from.

@Sentletse I bet chevy wont fix it or do anything, rather gm would say, 3k off on the next purchase of 200k. Due to inflation this is the best we can offer.

US auto OEMs switched to Android for infotainment systems. Terrible decision by US OEMs. Why did they do it?
Sam@specialestness

@ProcessISInc @Sentletse This vehicle is using Google Automotive which seems to be a pretty clear indication that they’ve given up on being software companies. The issue with this 2-4 year old Tahoe that’s in the video is clogged sunroof drains, which all vehicles with sunroofs are susceptible of.

@DewaleBr @Sentletse Toyota has had a rough run recently with the whole shit designed 3.4 TT. This 2-4 year old Tahoe in the video is suffering from clogged sunroof drains, which can and does happen to any vehicle with a sunroof.

@takuya8212 @Sentletse This video is not an indication of poor quality. All vehicles with sunroofs have drains that can be clogged. This 2-4 year old Tahoe in the video has clogged drains and now the water is draining in the cab. Easy fix and likely the fault of the owner.

@Sentletse Need to stop trying to be software companies and focus on making cars. That is what the Chinese are doing leveraging QNX for software.

@ty7193 @Sentletse This Tahoe is a 2022-2024 and it appears to be suffering from clogged sunroof drains as opposed to actual build quality issues. Any vehicle with a sunroof has the potential of leaking from clogged drain.

@mersomas I’m not a fan. Also can’t get behind the camera app now. Used to be able to change the setting easily at the bottom, but now it’s at the top and a pain in the ass.

@irfan10226545 @SusieM414141 Sunroofs aren’t really sealed all that tight. They always leak water but they have drains. The drains are clearly clogged and based off the interior, this Tahoe is at least 2 years old, which is plenty of time for people to manage clogging the drains.

@SusieM414141 Either the sunroof seal is not working or They left their sunroof tilted/open and the roof cavity got water in it …from rain or a car wash?

This is a brand new Tahoe. They must have bought the zen version with the water feature meant to keep you from getting road rage. 😆

@Ziff54813Arnold @SusieM414141 It doesn’t have the latest tech because it isn’t new like the post insinuates. All it has are plugged sunroof drains, which can happen on any vehicle with a sunroof.

@xUnder_ @SusieM414141 I’m guessing that it was manufactured at least 2 years ago considering it doesn’t have the mid-cycle refresh.

@SusieM414141 Your sunroof is clogged. It takes an hour of your time to have it sorted. And definitely not brand new since they don't come clogged from the factory lmao

@jellyfishwax1 @Sureshotsmokey @SusieM414141 Unlikely to be a manufacturing defect. The drains are likely clogged as the vehicle in the video is somewhere between 2-4 years old. This can and does happen to any vehicle with a sunroof, especially if you park them under a tree.
