Mission Control Houston was having difficulty communicating with the Orion spacecraft for several minutes, the issue began at T+51M26S. Teams were reporting good ICPS data. CAPCOM Stan Love was communicating with the crew “in the blind,” meaning relaying information to them, but not hearing communications from the crew. Views from onboard the Orion spacecraft are now transmitting and communications were able to be re-established. Commander Reid Wiseman says the crew was able to hear all of the communications from Love. Teams are working to understand what caused the comms issues.
