It has been brought to my notice that the judge presiding over my case concerning Tinubu is a criminal has revoked my bail, despite my presence in court yesterday, when the judge was not in attendance; consequently, we requested a new date.
The agenda for today was to consider my application seeking the judge's recusal, but instead, he opted to revoke my bail in a bid to assert forceful control over the trial. I will confront these developments with determination and resilience.
This was all planned but it shall not prevail. The struggle continues!

@SaharaReporters @sowore the update has landed. No recusal, last last na to face your trial. Do you have a defence...No, did you call the President a criminal, yes. No tantrums, no delay, wake up from your slumber, Action must take place now. Hon.Justice Umar, carry on sir 😀

Allegedly, David Umar Akomaya Abdul, a.k.a. Akpos, was taken away by the DSS.

@sowore @officialABAT @OfficialDSSNG Deviants belong is rehabilitation centres, you'll soon find your way there. Simply cos you lack defence, no reasonable cause of action. You'll be taught a lesson soon.

Yesterday, I defiantly walked toward the “accused” box at the Federal High Court in Abuja to confront the adversaries of our people, led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT who is using the lawless @OfficialDSSNG DG, Tosin Ajayi, to persecute me for speaking uncomfortable truths about Tinubu and his criminal government.
Before arriving at the court, we had already been informed that Justice Mohammed Garba Umar was rushing back from an event to deliver a ruling on our recusal request. Essentially, he was hurrying back simply to dismiss it.
But when he arrived, we confronted him with a letter addressed to the Chief Judge requesting that the case be reassigned to another judge. That move appeared to catch Justice Umar completely off guard. Flustered, he immediately asked the lead prosecutor to respond to our administrative application on the next adjourned date.
To be clear, we did not file an application requesting that Justice Umar recuse himself. We asked the Chief Judge to reassign the case because Justice Umar had repeatedly displayed inherent bias and open disrespect toward our legal team.
At one point, he even asked our lead counsel, Marshal D F Abubakar, to kneel before him in court, an outrageous act that has no place in the history of jurisprudence in Nigeria.
Frankly, we should have already petitioned the National Judicial Council to suspend Justice Umar, and that action will be taken soon. #RevolutionNOW

@SaharaReporters Maliciously reports like this is typical of you. A stich in time saves nine and thats what the DSS does best. As a matter of fact, this timely intervention to deescalate the dispute is deserving of thanks, so don't create problems when there's none.

DSS Invites Nurse, Lagos Hospital MD Over Workplace Dispute, Group Faults 'Unreasonable' Timing | Sahara Reporters bit.ly/4tJdCQW

@sowore @OfficialDSSNG @officialABAT @PoliceNG That name Tosin Ajayi, DG DSS is synonymous with professionalism translating to progress which is for the good of our dear country. The burden Int agencies carry no be small. As a progressive, I ❤️ to partner with the DSS #Ivolunteer. No dulling!
English

Today, I was made aware that DSS DG Tosin Ajayi is spending @officialdssng agency funds to recruit trolls, desperate to impress Tinubu @officialabat and prove his loyalty. But history is full of @OfficialDSSNG and @PoliceNG security chiefs who used their offices to prop up oppression, abuse citizens, and dehumanize Nigerians, only to end in disgrace or irrelevance.
From the era of Obasanjo to @GEJonathan and @MBuhari, we have seen @OfficialDSSNG chiefs deployed for dirty political jobs, human rights violations, intimidation, and repression.
None escaped the consequences of aligning themselves against the Nigerian people. There was former DSS DG Col. Kayode Areh (rtd), who became notorious during the Obasanjo era; eventually, his belongings were thrown out of his Lagos residence (he was recently rehabilitated with an ambassadorial appointment).
Under Umaru Yar’Adua came another, Afakriya Aduwa Gadzama, whose influence quickly faded.
Under @GEJonathan , Ita Ekpeyong faced a dramatic security crisis at his residence amid corruption allegations. Ekpeyong deployed one of the most notorious @OfficialDSSNG spokespersons, Marilyn Ogar, but we all know how it all ended.
@MBuhari came; with Yusuf Bichi. Controversy and scandal equally dogged his tenure. During his tenure, his soccer-playing son @AbbaBichi and wife lost all the wealth he had illegally acquired, they stole and frittered all, and he is today a nonentity.
Tosin Ajayi, too, will pass. Offices are temporary, power is fleeting, but the damage done against citizens in pursuit of political loyalty remains part of history’s judgment.
No amount of intimidation, troll recruitment, false prosecution, or judicial manipulation will silence resistance. Nigerians deserve a country governed by justice, freedom, accountability, and dignity—not fear.
#RevolutionNow am ready for all of them. #RevolutionNow
By the way, the guy in these photos is a long-time friend, @Chucksakunna, who DG DSS Tosin Adeola Ajayi sends to coordinate the @OfficialDSSNG court PR cases, paying him handsomely to portray DSS as a lovely patriotic agency. But @OfficialDSSNG is evil agency set up to destroy your dreams of free citizenship

@AmnestyNigeria @OfficialDSSNG @officialEFCC Sorry you can't play the judge and jury. Inasmuch as rights are constitutional, they aren't absolute where national security or criminal liability is involved. As such, this presumption of Badejos innocence is hasty and inexplicable. He'll have is day in court, no clouts!
English

Amnesty International is deeply concerned by the arbitrary arrest of Bello Badejo by the Department of State Services (DSS) @OfficialDSSNG on 7 May 2026 in Jalingo Taraba state. He was subsequently transferred to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) @officialEFCC
The authorities should charge him to court — if there is evidence of any wrongdoing — or release him, instead of detaining him indefinitely in what appears to be a politically motivated and state orchestrated abuse of power.
Each and every person has the right and freedom to participate freely in social and political affairs of the state.
Nigeria’s security agencies and anti-corruption agencies must always uphold due process of law and not become a tool in the hands of politicians; by carrying out arbitrary arrests, detentions, and other undue restrictions of the rights of individuals to the legitimate exercise of freedom of association and movement.
English

@SaharaReporters DSS hasn't stopped you from filing an appeal. All this foul cry of harassment isn't working. If you like drop 100m coalition, that won't change the judgement. The same accountability you request is now demanded from you. Stop the lies

Coalition Rallies Behind SERAP, Accuses DSS Of Intimidation Over Appeal Decision | Sahara Reporters bit.ly/4u2QVbp

@OfficialDSSNG This is a proof of accountable leadership, strong institutional reforms and structured discipline. Take it to the bank, a solid precedence has been laid. Now, unpatriotic CSO/NGOs who ride on foreign influence to defame our institutions will take dressing. Kudos DSS!

RE: DEFAMATION SUIT AGAINST SERAP
The attention of Department of State Services (DSS) has been drawn to several publications, in reaction to above case and attendant judgment delivered in favour of two officials of ours who instituted the litigation. Some of these publications, have not put the matter in proper perspective.
The Service hereby reiterates that, the suit was not between DSS as an organisation and Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP). Rather, it was a case filed by two of our operatives, who in the course of their lawful duty, felt defamed by SERAP, claiming that they, on September 9, 2024,
unlawfully invaded their Abuja office and harassed their staff.
An investigation into the claims by SERAP against the operatives was immediately initiated. Following the outcome of the investigation, the said operatives felt the need to seek redress in their personal capacity, and subsequently sought and obtained the approval of the Director-General, State Services, to approach the Court. The Court granted their reliefs and awarded the sum of N100m to the duo. In addition, the Court ordered
SERAP to issue an apology on its website, as well as in Punch and Vanguard newspapers. The apology is also to run on Arise and Channels TV stations. The court added that the N100 million awarded to the operatives as general damages shall attract a 10% interest rate per annum from May 5, 2026, until the sum is fully paid.
As an Agency, DSS has an obligation to protect its staff who carry out their duties in a lawful manner. At the same time, sanction erring operatives found to have breached the Nigerian Laws and our extant regulations. We have demonstrated this time and again by prosecuting some of our staff for various offenses in competent courts.
As such, the Service expresses happiness over the remedy to the injustice SERAP did to its officers.
Importantly, the Service reaffirms its commitment to professionalism and the rule of law.

English

Finally, lawless @OfficialDSSNG has presented @Justice_Crack to @Peter4Nigeria at their headquarters, CLAIMING THE @HQNigerianArmy has dropped him off to them and that he will be prosecuted anytime soon, we reject the prosecution of an innocent whistleblower by the lawless @OfficialDSSNG just to cover up for the @HQNigerianArmy for torturing @Justice_Crack; they want to take him to court instead of releasing him unconditionally, we reject this and tomorrow all activists must resume at the DSS Office to demand @Justice_Crack is released unconditionally!
English

@vdmempire Too many assumptions lead nowhere, including that Justice crack is innocent. Well sha, if he his truly with the DSS as claimed, he definitely is in the right hands. Them no dey waste time with prosecution...the courts will decide, finish! Security no be emotions.
English

“To the DSS(department of state security) I have a reason to believe that Justice crack is in your custody
I know this because the Nigerian army does not have the constitutional power to prosecute anyone, even if they make an arrest they will have to handover the person to the civilian authorities which are the police, efcc, dss and other civilian authorities, now if he was handed over to the police we would have all heard about it also there is no way he was arrested by the efcc because It’s not finance related so therefore Justice crack is definitely in the custody of the DSS.
Now I am wondering why the army handed him over to the dss? I just hope they don’t have plans to say he committed a treasonable offense because it won’t make any sense…
We will be writing to the dss to request the immediate release of Justice crack or he should be charged to court so we all know why he was arrested”—VDM

Heated moment during a live interview featuring David Hundeyin, @precious_enyi and Yelwata indigene Barr. Franc Utoo, as discussions intensified over claims of a “Christian genocide” in Nigeria.
The disagreement escalated after David Hundeyin stated that the number of Muslim casualties is higher than that of Christians, prompting a strong rebuttal from other participants who challenged his position. The exchange became highly contentious, and David Hundeyin eventually left the livestream during the argument.

“NO BROMATE!”
Have you ever stopped to wonder why those words are boldly written on most bread nylons in Nigeria?
Today, let’s talk about it.
Potassium bromate (KBrO₃) was once a common ingredient in bread-making. Bakers used it because it helped dough rise faster, made bread softer, and gave loaves that attractive, fluffy look.
But there was a serious problem, a dangerous one.
When bread isn’t baked at the right temperature or for long enough, bromate may not fully break down. That means traces of it remain in the bread we eat.
Over time, it can accumulate in the body. Scientific studies revealed that bromate is carcinogenic, it can cause cancer and also damage the kidneys.
For years, Nigerians unknowingly consumed bread containing this harmful substance. It was widespread because it was cheap and effective.
Then, everything changed. A woman decided it was time to put a stop to it.
Her name was Professor Dora Nkem Akunyili, who served as Director-General of NAFDAC from 2001 to 2008.
When she assumed office, Nigeria’s food and drug system was in chaos — fake products, unsafe additives, and weak regulation dominated the market. But Dora Akunyili was not one to ignore such dangers.
She launched investigations, sending officials to bakeries across the country to secretly collect bread samples. The findings were alarming.
A large portion of bread in circulation contained unsafe levels of bromate. That was all she needed to act.
In 2002, under her leadership, NAFDAC officially banned the use of potassium bromate in bread production across Nigeria.
But she didn’t stop at policy. She took the fight to the public — speaking on air, addressing the press, and openly naming offenders. She warned Nigerians that the very bread many families relied on daily could be harming their health.
The resistance was fierce. Many bakers pushed back. But she stood her ground.
NAFDAC carried out raids, shut down non-compliant bakeries, and educated the public. Gradually, things began to change.
Bakers adopted safer alternatives like ascorbic acid (vitamin C), and the label “NO BROMATE” became a symbol of safety and accountability. Today, many people don’t realize the impact of that decision.
Dora Akunyili was more than a regulator, she was a defender of public health. Her courage and integrity forced an entire industry to choose human life over profit.
So, the next time you pick up a loaf of bread and see “NO BROMATE” on the nylon, take a moment to remember the woman behind it.
Her name is Dora Akunyili.
She didn’t just enforce a policy.
She saved a generation.

There isn’t a single tank or tracked armored vehicle in the world with two turrets oriented in completely opposite directions. This is clearly AI generated. Its a shame people can now create fabricated videos and use them to shape and manipulate public perception without consequence.
