🚨🇬🇧 Lutz Bachmann was refused boarding to the UK this week. Tommy Robinson is calling it persecution. Let’s have a closer look at who Tommy wants to help ‘unite the nation’. Bachmann hasn’t just been banned. He’s been banned since March 2018. Seven years. The notice Robinson is waving around isn’t a new ban. It’s the existing exclusion order being enforced when Bachmann tried to fly in for the 16 May rally. So why is he excluded from the UK? The criminal record. Sixteen burglaries. Cocaine dealing. Assault. Two years served. In 1998, facing a three-year sentence, Bachmann fled to South Africa to escape prison. He was deported back to Germany. The hate speech conviction. In May 2016 a Dresden court convicted him of inciting racial hatred for calling refugees “cattle,” “scum,” and “filth” on Facebook. Fined €9,600. Conviction upheld on appeal. The Hitler photo (yes, that pic is real). January 2015. A picture surfaces of him with a Hitler moustache and side-parting. He briefly steps down from PEGIDA. Says it’s a joke. Reinstated two months later. The false accusation. After the murder of teenager Keira G. in Berlin, Bachmann posted a photo of an innocent young Muslim man and accused him of the killing. The actual suspect, already in custody, was an ethnic German. Berlin police investigated Bachmann for slander and incitement (sounds familiar, right?) The 2018 UK ban. Detained at Stansted. Deported within hours. Home Office grounds: his presence was “not conducive to the public good.” Border Force found a speech in his luggage written by Austrian extremist Martin Sellner. The Home Office document cited PEGIDA as “involved in the promotion and incitement of racial hatred and division of communities.” This is the man Tommy Robinson invited to address a London rally. Robinson knows all of it. He’s shared platforms with Bachmann since 2016. He stayed at Bachmann’s home in Tenerife in 2024. He hosted him on his “Silenced” podcast in March 2024. Bachmann’s record isn’t a secret - it’s the CV that earned him the invite. How does flying in a German burglar with a hate-speech conviction, a Hitler-moustache photo, and a refugee-defamation case on his record unite the Kingdom? What part of British identity is defended by importing a man banned by his own government from leading rallies in his own city? What unification project needs a foreign criminal with a longer rap sheet than Tommy, telling British people who belongs here? The persecution framing collapses the moment you check the file. Bachmann isn’t excluded for his opinions. He’s excluded because a UK government found, on documented evidence, that his presence was not conducive to the public good. He was caught carrying extremist material into the country. Seven years on, the order still holds. The Authority to Carry refusal Robinson is waving as evidence of tyranny? It’s the system working. The airline was legally barred from boarding him. The 2018 order was enforced. Robinson invited him anyway. Knew the whole record. Wanted him on a London stage regardless. You don’t unite the Kingdom by importing a German criminal to tell British Muslims their place in it.
