Why do pregnant women get checked and looked after constantly for nine months, but after giving birth no one cares about your body falling apart from lack of sleep and the things you went through to give birth?

@Priye644455 It wasn't a reasonable work instruction. They were demanding he donate 2 hours oh his free time to attend to work on short notice. He was right.

The problem was that he refused a reasonable work instruction without attempting to resolve it through the proper channels, leaving the rest of the team to handle an urgent client deadline. His employment was terminated before the end of his probation period.

One of the newest hires( Gen Z) at my workplace lasted exactly three weeks. His manager announced that everyone would need to stay an extra two hours because a major client had moved a deadline forward. Before anyone could respond, he raised his hand and asked, “Will those two hours be paid?”

Was up late animating shots for Gameoverse, heard something outside. Caught guys breaking into @Giwi_'s car. Chased them down, they tripped and dropped everything in our driveway. Her chat heard the whole thing. Probably not smart, but in the moment the raging Aussie inside took over. 🤬

Update: I was received with love and kindness by the boys in my HS 50th reunion class of 76. In one of the hallways there was a poster with a quote from one of my books, about finding courage. One of the most powerful and joyful experiences of my life.
