In the midst of the battle, as Gallah fought with every ounce of his strength, he became momentarily distracted by the weight of his own expectations. In that split second of vulnerability, a Bantah soldier saw an opening and struck, his sword slicing through Gallah's side, piercing his flesh and cutting into his ribcage. The pain was immediate and searing, like white-hot fire coursing through his body. Gallah gasped for breath, his vision blurring as the agony threatened to consume him.
