Went in for a second time and this film just gets better. Love its visceral rage and aggressive visual style. Wild that this has become such a hit with critics and audiences. It’s got the same gonzo energy as Brian Yuzna’s Society. Demi Moore is phenomenal. #thesubstance

@glenndunks I nearly threw my phone across the gym when he mentioned NYNY. I haven’t finished listening to the episode but Age of Innocence! When Gangs of New York is right there!

No offense (maybe), but literally nothing about anything this Kenny guy says in this episode Scorsese episode of Screen Drafts makes me want to listen to his own podcasts. NYNY, Last Temptation, Age of Innocence and Departed all in the bottom five? Absolutely incomprehensible.

All of Us Strangers, Poor Things, Killers of the Flower Moon. Dune Part 2, Ferrari, Saltburn, The Killer, The Zone of Interest, Maestro. What an exciting time for movies. Can’t wait to see all of these!

This song is good. Like, *good* good. Pop continues to live in 2023! And the video's a smash, too (although some bodies with more than single digit body fat would've been nice). We're going to stream this like we streamed (and continue to stream) "Padam Padam".

Hi, guy. LISA is a deliciously twisted late '80s L.A.-set low-budge thriller. Easy to put it in the same basket as made-for-tv thrillers about women in peril, but it has a bit more complexity to it and builds suspense out of interesting character dynamics. Plus, it's whackadoo.
