Our opinion: Yes, sadly.
Monthly content drops were already being complained about (not by us, we thought monthly updates were perfect) and were mostly why the game went from 480,000 daily players down to 80,000 daily players, so 5x’ing that wait for new content is insanity to most players.
Quality over quantity YES, but it won’t matter when there’s only a few thousand players to provide that quality to.
Let’s keep in mind: GTA 6 drops 2 weeks after the next big Arc Raiders update.
It’s not looking good.

ARC Raiders is moving to 2 major updates per year (instead of monthly drops) for bigger changes, while only doing regular balance and big fixes in the meantime.
