Even bracketing off the notion HG should have dealt with this in the offseason, it's reported he felt new discomfort "a week before the start of ST" which would be around Feb 1. Deal with it then, not now. Surgery on Feb 11 instead of March 11. Return in June instead of July.

Reds fans deserve so much better than the people who own and are managing the club right now. Beyond frustrating to read how HG's injury was managed (and that's accepting the club's statements at face value).
