@JayTCB2 I don’t hate it but I strongly dislike the live action characters and the 3D style doesn’t feel… well executed? Unfinished, maybe. There’s things I like, I actually enjoyed Sandy’s family for one, but there so many things that took me out of it

@saltyspongeman @SpongyTakes That’s probably why, most of the new episodes tend to have great animation but incoherent, rushed or seemingly thoughtless stories behind it. Some are exceptions but that’s what I’ve found, and I’m just hoping they return to gag-centric stories that rely on character comedy

@SpongyTakes Hard agree. I couldnt tell for the life of me why it was getting so much praise when it got leaked. Really good drawings and animation though

@saltyspongeman This is true. I’ve stopped watching new episodes with the occasional viewing out of interest of people talking about them but it’s just not for me

Modern SpongeBob fans need to stop acting like anyone who doesn't like post sequel Bob is just a mindless hater. I defend this era hardcore but I'm at a point where I don't think its for me anymore. Its possible to not like it very much for completely fair reasons.
