I’m all for burning down the movie and tv industry if this is the direction they are going.
Actors and writers can take their talent elsewhere, and I’ve got a feeling most would gladly do so even if they are paid less. As long as they are being paid fairly for what is produced.

Hollywood studios proposed scanning background actors using AI and paying them for one day's work, as a part of negotiations with the actors' union Studios would then be able to use the scan forever

I know I haven’t posted anything in a long time y’all, but taking care of Mrs.G has been my top priority and I think it’s time for an update. Today she made the decision to go on hospice. Over the last few weeks we found a series tumors in her brain and it’s been downhill since.

Just FYI: 2% of streamers on the platform that qualify for this. This is just an insulting way of Twitch trying to say “but we tried ☹️” without actually giving effort.
It’s the same top streamers getting back their 70/30 split that the new monetization agreement removed.
