Every creator’s journey is different, so instead of showing specific numbers, plays will now appear as milestones that update each time a new threshold is reached for an episode, starting at 50K. We want to celebrate your BIG wins and make it easier for your audience to spot and celebrate them with you. Discovery Mode was great for pushing new tracks. So @spotifyartists decided you can now only push songs already doing well, chosen by their algorithm, taking away control from the artists. God forbid lesser-known tracks actually get discovered with a tool called "Discovery"!
