@OwenRivers1985 @frenbilt Canada and the EU are wholly owned subsidiaries of America. There are many good reasons for holding companies to keep subsidiaries rather than absorbing them.

@frenbilt We're gonna take it anyway dude. It's too far gone in every single sector. Even if there was a chance they could "save it" by building up their military, that is impossible for dozens of reasons. Taking Canada is the least we can do for our Canadian brothers and sisters.

If Canada wants to remain sovereign, they should immediately maximize their oil production and dramatically strengthen their military. If they don’t, America will take Canada

Ottawa is 5.8% South Asian, so obviously 100% of its bus operator graduates are South Asian. Of course, no one else would want those jobs as salary plus benefits average out to over $100,000. Yes, the city has racial quotas for hiring.

🥁 Drum roll please! We are happy to introduce our newest group of Bus Operator graduates. They are fully trained and looking forward to driving our city forward. Congratulations!

I think we are on the cusp of another huge telecom buildout As AI workloads shift from training (happens in a single DC campus, though telecom will benefit from multi DC training & DCI as well) to inference (data moves between DC & users), traffic will explode We will soon live in a world where billions of agents are on the internet, communicating with each other and humans 2027 & beyond will be very interesting for telecom

Same banalities as the Build Canada crowd People get what they want...in Canada, that's a social democracy somewhere closer to European welfare states as demonstrated by the astonishing victory of the Liberals last year

@MaMoMVPY The wealthy allies you speak of are really just wholly owned subsidiaries of the hold co. The subsidiary network can be easily reconstituted.

Maybe it is time to once again remind everybody that running a global reserve currency necessitates that you have a lot of wealthy ALLIES willing to hold your Treasury bonds and your currency. If you piss off your allies they will not in the long run hold on to these assets and you will have to pay a lot more to fund your enormous public debt.

Chinese brands today are perceived by consumers to be equivalent or even superior design/quality to Nike. Increasingly common theme across a wide range of industries.

$MU $SNDK $TSM Called the memory bottom in March 2025. Nobody cared. So did my Agentic AI callout with low impressions. Agentic AI runs local and cloud, 24/7, never stops learning and working. The old AI model was simple. Train a model. Run inference. Done. Agentic AI breaks that model entirely. Agents learn on the job. They execute tasks, loop back, self-correct, and run again. Local and cloud. Around the clock. That kind of workload doesn't just need chips. It needs context thus the memory. Lots of it. Persistently. Five years from now the infrastructure required to support global agent deployments will dwarf everything built in the last decade.

$MU $NVDA $TSM $SNDK Low impressions on my Agentic AI post. Same thing happened when I called the memory bottom. The crowd is always quiet before the move. Every major call I've made started with low impressions. We are so early. The next big wave is coming.

Citizens of Canada, Australia, Western Europe and the UK are learning two important lessons: One - they were never as important geopolitically as they thought they were (at least not since WW2) And Two - their own governments are responsible for the deteriorating conditions of their nations.

If you really want to nail it down, correct interpretation here is throwing more hbm at inference is sufficient for longer and that you don't need custom hardware for higher bandwidth.

Reading twitter investor's takes on this being a structural breaker to memory is so ... dunning kruger Like sure, no one thought to compress their KV cache until Google publicly released this technique when it was the single biggest pressure on their business !!! 😁
