@real_sunny_long The absolute worst thing about Rocket Lab is their Reddit community of whining pussies who seem to be intolerable of patience.
English

@PaperBozz You’re right, with your vast trivia knowledge of Rocket Lab, management really should have checked with you first about ATM timing. In fact you should just run the company instead.

Me, the granddaddy of $RKLB, watching people who just found out about RKLB yesterday come lecture me on the company and its management.
What was the symbol before it de-SPAC'd? Did you know there was such a thing as warrants? Did you convert warrants into shares and hold through the ups and downs?
Did you believe in the management when the stock was trading in the dumpster and the rocket launch failed? Were you buying shares in the $3 handle? Were you watching every single attempt to catch Electron mid-air?
So spare me your lecture on how great the company is when I'm simply pointing out that there could be better timing for the offering.
Now I want you to be angry .... very angry . Bring all that rage and come at me bro!
🤣

Our biggest launch contract yet that cements HASTE's hypersonics leadership
Rocket Lab@RocketLab
Our largest launch contract yet: 20x new HASTE launches for @DeptofWar to accelerate hypersonics for America. We're delivering reliable, modern hypersonic capabilities to the nation with speed and affordability - and the first mission in this block of launches is just months away🚀
English

@PaperBozz You stupid ungrateful baby. Wahhh wahhhh. Do you know how stupid you sound? Daily stock price is meaningless until Neutron launches. Until then sit down and STFU.

$RKLB secured a $190M contract for a Defense Department project.
Couldn't they wait for this news to hit before announcing the $1 billion offering?
We could have been above $83 today. Then they could announce their $1B offering once it gets above $88.
Who the fuck is advising the timing of capital raises?

English

@AlligatorAlctrz @retail_mourinho How did everyone miss this? You’re so brilliant!
English

@retail_mourinho On zero profit. This company was founded in 2006…20 years and zero profit.

Rocket Lab $RKLB shows why dilution can be a buying opportunity.
They raised ~$1B (~3% dilution), yet the stock dropped ~10%.
Yes, dilution hurt the share price, I do not deny this, but with strong leadership like Peter Beck, that capital will create long-term value.
That’s why I don’t worry about dilution in my long-term stocks: $ASTS $NBIS $ONDS - I focus on how the money is used.

English

@Coffee4Life365 @SpaceInvestor_D Good point. Does that mean higher margins per launch vehicle regardless of cadence (compared to Electron)?
English

@SpaceInvestor_D 9.5 million per launch but no second stage. Cool. Better spin up the ‘ol Electron machine 😀
English

$RKLB: The new award is the single largest launch contract in Rocket Lab’s history, bringing the total number of launches in backlog to more than 70 and pushing Rocket Lab’s total backlog across launch and space systems to more than $2 billion
Rocket Lab today announced the signing of its single largest launch agreement yet: a $190 million contract for a block buy of 20 hypersonic test flights with its HASTE launch vehicle for the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonic Test Bed (MACH-TB) 2.0 program.

English

@RocketLab @DeptofWar Nooo but you announced a future dilution of 2% yesterday!! Wahhh wahhh. /s
Awesome job! ;)

English

@odiimichael1 @RocketLab @DeptofWar That’s like 1-2 launches per quarter for the next four years… what could possibly make you think they can’t execute on this fairly lax timeline considering their established cadence and production capacity??
English

$190M hypersonic contract for Rocket Lab? I’ve been holding RKLB since the SPAC days and this is the first time the backlog actually feels real. Defense spending is about to go parabolic and they’re positioned perfectly. Still, I’m nervous about execution risk on these timelines. Anyone else adding on this news or waiting for the next dip?
English

This is why it’s down $RKLB
Jordan@HyperAICapital
🚨 BREAKING: $RKLB UNLOCKS $1 BILLION STOCK SELLING PROGRAM Rocket Lab just filed to sell up to 1B of common stock through an at-the-market (ATM) offering. This gives them the ability to continuously sell shares into the market via Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BofA and others.
English

@spvcemann @ShardiB2 Curious how this is great news? Issuing more stock dilutes existing shareholder equity. Kinda the opposite of great news for investors.
English

@johhnyWalkerAZ Does this even mean anything of significance? Retail is clearly retarded.
English

@CaminaDrummer4 @SayNoToTrading It is an additional $1B. They used up their $750M already.
English

@SayNoToTrading I’m disappointed because it’s an upsize rather than an additional $1B. They need to scale!
English

$RKLB longs, I know you may be pissed but hear me out.
So they filed today an "up to" $1B ATM stock offering, but keep in mind this replaces a prior $750M filing.
The only raise I disagreed with was one they did in 2024 via convertible senior notes (debt, not straight equity) with an initial conversion price of ~$5.13 per share, but effective conversion at $8.04 (after capped call transactions to reduce dilution).
Many thought they were being generous because they needed the money to buy $RDW and they obviously didn't.
Aside from that one, their raises have generally made sense in retrospect.
I know everyone thinks Neutron is delayed until much later in year, but I would not be surprised if Rocket Lab surprises you with it sooner.
My guess is when Neutron happens and $RKLB stock pops, they want to be ready to raise money.
